Jermall Charlo Loses By KO To GGG; Maybe Canelo Too...

First jermell will never fight andrade because he's a 154 pound fighter. Second andrade is a bad match up for everyone at 160 so he very well could beat jermall. Canelo would probably beat jermall but would take alot of punishment in the process. I never said the charlos were the second coming i like them and support them because they are my hometown fighters. They are both good fighters who can beat or give hell to anyone in their division.

 

Same people probably said Loma would be beaten by Walters. Andrade is too wild and Charlo too reckless to beat GGG.

Both were exposed recently man. Hate to break it to you. They were weight bullies with average skills at 154. Can't see the heavier bro causing any real issues for the elite at MW, his power and physicality clearly isn't what it was at 154.

Exposed??? How??? were they both beat up and shut out? I clearly missed this. Charlo destroyed Williams who just beat hurd. He almost shut out adams youre not going to stop everyone you face.

Lol you can be exposed without being shut out. Charlos were exposed as poor boxers who rely too much on physicality and power. Much like Hurd although obviously not as extreme. I think Williams is a far better talent than either Charlo for what it's worth. He'd beat the bigger brother rematch and would beat the one campaigning at his own weight if they ever cross paths.

Also for what it's worth.I didn't watch the fight last night but reliable posters with no clear agendas(like IB) had him losing 3-4 rounds. That's not close to being shut out.

 

I respect IB but adams didnt win anymore than 2 rounds and that's being generous. I was there live and rewatched the fight at home. Adams did well to survive mostly looking counter and go rounds.

They were not exposed as poor boxers they are both skilled boxer punchers they are world class top of the division guys are they top 10 p4p fighters no but i never said they were. Lastly charlo would stop Williams again if he ever fought again he can take jrocks power but jrock cant take his.

 

Not taking your shine but I've been in agreement with this for a long time. Charlos are so overrated!

 

Granted Charlo has more power and a better chin but I think Williams went back to the drawing board and became a better fighter off of it. He's the better boxer and if he fights the kind of masterclass he did against Hurd I see him taking a rematch. How has Charlo looked since? Worse if anything. In a fair world he would have lost to Korobov a 37 year old who took the fight on short notice and ended up being a cherry pick gone wrong - He didn't look great last night either. Doesn't appear to be anywhere near as big a puncher at MW. I mean.... He stopped a one legged fighter and Centeno whos chin is pure China. But other than that he really hasn't impressed in the way he was supposed since moving up.

 

I dont have a problem with the korobov fight because for one it was taken on short notice it wasnt a cherrypick monroe jr pulled out. He also just saw his twin lose his championship in a fight many people myself included thought he won that can effect someone to act like it doesn't is ridiculous. It's the reasom why they won't fight on the same cards anymore too stressful. Even still after a slow start he adjusted and hurt korobov badly almost stopping him and won a close fight He did what he had to do against adams and won going away. I would love to see him fight chenko ggg canelo jacobs bjs korobov or andrade i think he would hold his own against any of them.

Lastly i never thought too much of hurd i thought jermell would have beaten hurd worse than williams did.

 

Charlo is not hanging with Clenelo. That has 18-110 written all over it. He's a head case and would start to fracture mentally trying to put leather on the ultra slippery Clen. Once he started getting countered hard he would cave in on himself.

I wasn't impressed with his boxing against Korobov or J-Rock (until he landed that bomb). I was at the Adams fight last night. Clearly the guy has some talent, but he's pretty linear and not that quick or explosive.

Not sure he wouldn't get rocked kid chocolate style by Danny Jacobs.

GGG would be a great fight. They would meet in the middle and bang. GGG is the harder and more accurate puncher with better timing. No bueno for Charlo.

 

But who's rating them? Are they on any top 10 p4p list? Me and a handful of posters here are the only ones who even support them.
