Good thread. It’s too hard to answer.. I do like shock fights and ATG performances... Calzaghe v Lacy Pac v Marquez 4 Hopkins v Pavlik and Tarver Usyk v Gassiev Tarver v Green (Tarver went on a late career run, went to Australia and avenged Roy Jones in my eyes, that saga went the full circle and I had become a Tarver fan despite hating him previously - for the talk and for knocking out my favourite fighter) Floyd v Connor (for the circus and the excitement, with the firm conclusion) I’ve enjoyed the mastery in all of Loamchenko’s fights... my fav is vs Rigo for the overall skill in the ring. I thought Fury vs Wilder was brilliant, I loved the **** out of the Joshua vs Ruiz fight as well. Gun to my head? I’m going to say Joshua vs Ruiz. The odds, the twist, the conclusion, the story, the conspiracies. It had it all, and for the biggest prize in the sport. On another day I might say Fury vs Wilder. I don’t care what people say or think, this heavyweight division is the best ever by some distance. There is so much potential for future shocks and stories with these heavyweight fighters. Add Usyk into the mix? What a time to be a boxing fan.
I have been thinking about this thread for a couple of days and I've got it!, for me its David Tua vs Shane Cameron. This was a huge fight in NZ . Many people did not realise how good Tua had been in his career, this fight was when he was on the slide and Cameron was New Zealands new shiny heavyweight, of all my friends I was the only one who picked Tua to win. Turns out Tua still had enough left to give Cameron one of the worst beatings I have ever seen.
