I wish we had another section just for fantasy boxing bouts.
    Moses Vs Noah
Jessie James Vs Billy the kid
    Ect.

This would sure free up a lot of room in the classic section for something real.

Clay would mean the fighter prior to his first bout with Liston. Ali would mean the fighter after his first bout with Liston.

    Ali wins.

I'd take peak pre exile Clay/Ali to win a decision over post exile Ali.

Ali takes Clay into deep waters and makes it more competitive than most anticipate. Tooth and nail, razor close.

Perhaps but would he actually get the decision? Ken Norton, Ernie Shavers and Jimmy Young could be the judges.

His bout with Shavers the decision was not controversial.

They'd both be alarmed and intimidated by how pretty the guy in the other corner was.

It would be a straight draw.

I'm thinking Ali, prior to exile vs. Ali after he came back against Quarry in late 70. Given that scenario, it may well have been a 'scrap'. But...An Ali from March 67 to October 70 (which we never saw) may well have TKO'd the second coming of Ali.
