If Vlad hadn't started working with the Steward, I am sure that he wouldn't have become a champion in HW. Sanders wasn't a monster, it's just Vlad was overrated at time. Also, when Vitali fought with Sanders, he knew that Sander got tired after 2-3 rounds, and all he needed was just to stay alive in the first 2-3 rounds.
No BUT...... His win over Wlad and performance against Wilder is better than anything on Wlad and Vitali's CV so he's certainly in the discussion. What's against him is no defenses and lack of wins over top 10 HW's although that will change in time.
He barely hit Wilder and he never had Wlad in trouble. Fanboy's Fantasy Fury is probably the best Heavyweight ever. Real world Fury has a lot to prove and hasn't beat a live opponent for four years.
