I honestly for ages thought he was pretty turd... But he keeps winning and I don't dislike the guy so I'll just shut my mouth... Fair play to him... He's scoring some great kos as well

He's a disaster waiting to happen. Helenius had him going until he remembered he wasn't there to win, Parker was 5 seconds from a win, chisora almost had him, old whatshisface in a couple of weeks may get the job done.

With all that being said I respect him tremendously as he's pushed his limits to the max and rode his luck so good on him. Would love to see him get a belt but the cards will all have to fall perfectly for that to happen.

He should have taken the AJ fight as that's very winnable for him but He did the right thing avoiding Ortiz, who is too well schooled with too much power for a sloppy, questionable chinned guy with stamina issues.

Ortiz would get home at some point and the fight would be over, horrible style matchups for Whyte, worse than Wilder would be tbh.

C'mon mate Del boy ain't no journeyman, I think you mean gatekeeper, he's a gatekeeper for the world scene. I had to comment cos the journeyman moniker had me chuckling

If he beats Rivas and doesn't get a title shot next what next for him? A Takam, Gashi, Price/Allen stay busy but against someone of not too low profile fight? I don't think he's getting a title shot this year, whatever he does.

Notice he’s been quite dismissive of Parker wanting a rematch, saying he’d already beat him and why would he fight him again...didn’t he fight Chisora again? And the win over Parker wasn’t conclusive so Parker’s rematch talk is viable.

HahAh this was the first thing I thought of when entering this thread. I swear this guy is everywhere banging on about Whyte, he's a massive fanboy it's a little bit weird.

    Thats Whyte all over
    Always contradicting himself

However the Del boy rematch must have earnt him a small fortune
Hence why i think he went with it
Does the Parker rematch earn him that same wedge?
Possible but if the guarantee isnt there he aint gonna entertain it

What part is weird bro, in my country its perfectly legal to be a fan of a sports figure.

So I took my legal entitlement and brought it to a boxing forum.

    Now I’m getting lynched.

I brought too much fandom for some people in this forum.

What's weird is that you are way too over the top. I'm a fan of certain sports figures and boxers but I'm not in everyone's faces defending and talking about these guys all the time, your fandom and the way you act is just really strange.

Also what country is that legal in? I don't know what the point of bringing your country is into this, so please tell us the country.

How about I tell you the country when you give me a single example of where I was “over the top” instead of making sweeping statements.

    In everyone’s face?? Hahaha

Fury, AJ, Wilder and Usyk all better than him. Would like to see him against Joyce. (Not that it’ll ever happen).
