If he's signed with PBC it will be 100% nobodies for the first 2-3 fights at least

Think I read he's training with Virgil Hunter now. He fits the bill for somebody who won't take any crap.

I don't understand this whole 'stay busy fight' scenario. What is he staying busy for? He is 30 soon, been in three big fights and the only one he won was against a shot Degale who had been **** for over 2 years before that fight.

He might as well roll the dice and jump in some big fights.

I've never been a fan but that Yildirim performance may look a lot more impressive in a few years time. The thing with this id is that he never pushes on enough, and he's not a kid anymore. He's been managed very badly, made to believe utter bulls**t and it's hampered his career. At Middleweight he had serious KO power, no question, it hasn't transferred well at SMW, the Yildrim fight aside, as we saw against Degale. Any SMW worth their salt would have had him out of there when you could see him falling to pieces but Jnr missed out on a real chance to make a statement.

As I mentioned earlier, this may look a lot more impressive in years to come, he certainly dealt with him better than the current WBC SMW champion did.

Keep him away from intelligent counter punchers with good feet and he’ll do very well. He’s an handful for anyone, seriously durable, strong, fast...he’s not pushing on though which should be a concern because when a fighter’s best attributes are their athleticism, there’s a shorter career span on that imo.

Good sources saying this fight is now happening. What a fight this could be.

Young CHRIS would hack Ryder to bits it’d be like watching a brand new combine harvester go full tilt at a two man tent

The young war machine would utterly obliterate him. Plus people forget Ryder is not getting any younger either is he

Junior is doing just fine and is on the verge of another world title shot. Ranked number 2 with the WBC and WBA if he despatches Ryder in true Eubank fashion then I expect him to fight the Benavidez/Dirrel winner and grab the real green gold then fight Smith on Sky box office for an all British unification. On top of this he also has Canelo and Saunders so plenty of options for 7 figure paydays. Eubank with a real world title would be hot property as neither Smith or Saunders are big sellers by themselves.

He could have fought Dirrell for the vacant title for small money but turned it down and went for the Degale PPV fight which he obviously done well out of. I think he made the right choice to be fair, he’d have lost horribly in his first defence against Benavidez.
