Haye from Valuev I guess vs AJ from let's say actually pre klitschko Charles Martin fight (I think he's gotten worse with a confused style since then) Might seem like a hate thread but it isn't, Haye didn't look his best vs super heavyweights imo.
Pre VADA Joshua beats Haye although it's not a foregone conclusion, Haye had real power and speed but I'll go with AJ in a close one, VADA tested AJ it's 50/50.
AJ wins rounds without landing anything big due to David’s tremendous head movement. Then David lands and ends it with the first shot on the side of the head. AJ gets back to his feet but David closes the show the referee jumping in to save AJ on the ropes in the 6th. AJ would be four rounds up at time of stoppage in a scrappy unentertaing fight .
Klitschko couldn't nail Haye. Haye had great head movement and didn't get hit much when he didn't want to. AJ would really struggle to nail him. Haye would catch AJ and take him out.
Joshua would have won imo as David Haye was never an elite heavyweight. Even his win over Valuev was debatable. He was scared to let his hands go against Klitchsko and Valuev, accept near end v Valuev, so dont see why he would have been any different against Joshua.
Cause he landed against Klitschko and Valuev all too late. AJ isn’t hard to hit, and judging by AJs inability to recoup after taking a punch, David would swarm and end it.
Joshua would have won. Haye would fight scared and in pure defensive mode and possible last the 12 round distance, before taking his shoe off to show you why he's such a crap boxer. Joshua has been horribly overrated by some British fans over the past 3 years, but before that Haye was even more overrated for his lesser heavyweight achievements.
Haye wins by KO within 6 rounds. I've always said Haye at his best would have KO'd Joshua. I got laughed out of the barber shop for saying it before lol. Doesn't seem so ridiculous now does it. Come to think of it, I could do with a trim...
Prime Haye was probably the one that beat Mormeck. We dont know which is prime version of Joshua yet, but so far its probably the one that beat WK. Interesting match up this. Joshua would struggle to land anything of note, but it would only take one cuffing shot to have Haye and his chin wobbling about. That said, catching Haye would be a hard nights work. Both gas after about 8 rounds, then its a pick em. Would we moan about Hearn making this a PPV tho?
