Byrd was much harder to hit and had quicker hands.

Byrd. Moorer was a guy who was a pudgy disapointment. He eventually became an obese disapointment.

Byrd was an overachiever. His style wasn't the most thrilling to watch. But you can't question his heart, work ethic, or willingness to fight the best.

Byrd IMO. Better H2H fighter, better resume, better representative as a champion.

Moorer for me a win over a prime Holyfield (heart issues were due to ped use so not a real excuse if your gonna cheat take the bad with the good) also was lineal champ rather then title holder. Excellent puncher his lead uppercut was brutal also think he'd beat Byrd.

Byrd the much better fighter. Moorer much more exciting to watch, big puncher, weak chin. Byrd was just horrible to watch, couldn't break an egg. Very good chin though.

I voted for Byrd but his win over Vitali was hardly a proper one.

Both had good wins despite being the smaller /lighter men in there .Byrd had the better Chin whilst MM was the more exciting fighter .I'll lean towards Moorer ,he had the lineal belt .
