It's the other way round. Unless Kugan has been cursed with one of worst glass jaws imaginable, then a man his size is not geeting KO'd ( even even especially hurt) by punches from someone as puny as Patel. So unless Patel as got a BJJ blackbelt or something we don't know about then as soon as Kugan gets a hold of him he would just ragdoll him to death.

In debates like this I think a lot of it is small, insecure blokes who don't want to admit reality so try and kid themselves that if you just train and have some skills then size and strength go out of the window.

 

Patel would KO Kugan cold. Kugan wouldn't be able to tag him, Patel would be slipping the srilankans punches and landing hard counters

You know what i quite admire and respect what he is doing. Yes he acts like a tit and says stupid things but when he speaks genuine there is something there with the lad.

Id love to see him take it all the way with this independent route.

 

It would be a hell of a story, especially if it eventually led to a World Title fight with Sunny Edwards. I've warmed to him a lot, people can say what they want about him and I'm sure there's a lot of truth in what people say but he's clearly taking his boxing seriously, built himself up and got a bit of momentum behind him now.

 

I'd hate to be in the same room as the kid but as long as he's winding up the likes of Kugan Cassius and doing his thing I'm all for supporting him.
Gotta admire the way he's taken the opportunity to cause controversy and get people talking about him from day one ... with no hype or backing from any big UK promoter or friends in the media.

His 15 straight wins over in Europe (mostly Hungary, a boxing backwater) against bums is excellent work. Completely padding his record but that takes some dedication, to fight bums in unglamourous surroundings away from home, picking up meaningless belts in crappy fights in places such as "Morrison's Pub, Budapest", having alientated everyone in the UK and probably not possessing the abilities yet right now to have stayed unbeaten for long at the 4 and 6 round level on UK cards.
He now stands at 19-0-1 and is about to challenge for the "IBO" belt (which he correctly points out Anthony Joshua was proud to carry into the ring as champion until he lost) on the same card as legitimate UK 'names' Amir Khan, Hughie Fury.

I hope he wins and comes back to UK to land a big fight here too.
