Yes. But seriously. Due to politics and other issues in the division Fury/Wilder II isn't happening this year - and it's far from being one of the fights available for Fury. This or Miller would be fine.
Well. If Fury really is going to fight Wilder in February, then I can't really fault him too much for an easy stay-busy fight. But god-****ing-damn is this boring. Schwarz was bad and Bryan appears no better. It's disappointing and feels like a waste of time. Although I suppose I have to check myself after seeing what Ruiz did to AJ. I haven't see any of Bryan's fights, but he's young and untested, and appears to have mostly walked through his (very poor) opposition so far. On paper, that's not too dissimilar from Ruiz. But then there's a reason Ruiz was the underdog. Ultimately, if Fury doesn't fight Wilder -- or at least someone in the top 10 -- after this, then... Christ.
Trevor Bryan is complete and utter pony. Beat BJ Flores in his last fight who's a blown up Cruiserweight who Tony Bellew annihilated 3 years ago. In his fights prior to Flores, he beat a guy who was 2 and 24, that's right, 2 wins and 24 losses and another guy with 2 wins and 20 losses. I would actually make Schwarz vs Bryan a 50/50 fight so utter gash coming from the Ring magazine no.1 Heavyweight in the world. This fight will also likely be on PPV as Bryan, somehow is the WBA Interim Champion. Right now for me, Fury can FECK RIGHT OFF! I'm already sick of his BS, down playing and slagging off rivals while fighting Schwarz and likely Bryan, what a ****ing **** take
Why is anyone suprised by this? I warned you all Tune Up Fury would dig up more unheard of names so he can fight more scrubs.
I thought Bryan was all ready to fight Charr. Man, this WBA regular thing is out of this world. And what's Oquendo doing? He's down at #15 now. Dykcho 14 ... Usyk 2. Joyce is gold champ.
Not sure why people are being so cynical. It's obviously not Fury who's 100% calling the shots. You have to take Fury at face value - he's said Wilder is signed for 22nd of Feb. If that's true then - ESPN want to build his name up in the US and have specified they want him fighting an American. That limits his options considerably; only really Miller or Bryan.. Kownacki was also mentioned I see. I don't believe any of these top guys are scared of eachother - but so much is dictated to them by networks.
