I like the card and I think it is a great night of boxing with Thurman v Pac also on the same night, I plan to chill out and buy both. But I think Rivas is not a big enough name for the PPV to do good numbers. so are you buying the ppv?
Nice to see a thread on this. I won't be purchasing. Look at the state of the undercard. Franks show on BT this weekend is arguably just as good.
Rivas is not even a big enough name to sell tickets. According to Arum ticket sales have not gone well here.
Im watching but not paying - last year I would have just booked it, but Hearn’s magic is running out.
Don’t have to listen to Arum to know this weren’t going to sell. It was a desperate attempt at filling PPV quotas. I do however like the card. Price Allen is a pick em. Szpilka Chisora is another that can go any way.
I like the card but not PPV worthy and can’t imagine too many forking out for it. The numbers will be interesting to see exactly where Whyte’s popularity is.
Whyte’s popularity is a myth. His last fight at the o2 didn’t sell well. He’s had PPVs against a massive upcoming star in AJ, a former world champion and ex AJ opponent Parker and then a rematch of a fight of the year with a sort of British Icon in Chisora - everyone loves Del Boy. This will be a real gauge.
I got some decent tickets for this for a great price, np doubt there are still loads of tickets left...if I didn't have tickets then I would of paid the ppv... Im a fan of Whyte and Chisora is one of my favourite fighters. Plus the circus show of Price/Allen will be fun. Not going to miss this.
I watch all boxing on my moody box. Chinese for me and the Mrs 20 quid 12 cans for me 10 Wine for the lady 10 Cheaper than a night out.
I'll buy but grudge it TBH because of the lack of good content on Sky these days. Think it will be a shootout and whyte will win by mid-round KO
