Not a good fight for Ken . Ruddock gets him hurt in the first couple of rounds .

I think higher of Norton as a fighter, but RR had the style to smash him.

    Ruddock.

Kenny will eat a left hook sooner or later with that crabshell defense that is open for left hooks. I just don't see Kenny making it to the 5th or 6th round were his tremendous conditioning advantage would start to pay dividends.

And once hurt and and maybe dropped by one of those big shots, Kenny better only have like 6 seconds left in the round to kill. 75 seconds to kill to the end of the round would be pretty much impossible for Norton.

I’m well aware of Norton’s failings vs huge punchers. Here however may be a bit different story. The only KO blow Rudduck has is that left hook but it’s thrown more long range. The kind of Blow Ken could pick off. I could see Norton winning this one by methodically outboxing Rudduck over the distance and weathering through individual power punches that come his way. One sided U decision for Norton. Rudduck to me was always an unimpressive one trick pony.

50/50 Fight. I can see it going two totally different directions. It all depends on whether Ruddock lands that smash early or not.

Rudducks “smash” was a left hook/uppercut. Something in between both. He had little else in terms of offense and a very penetrable defense.

Right. And just what punch is a crabshell susceptible to?

Certainly not a telegrapged lead uppercut from a mile away. If anything it would consistently smash Norton's right elbow or he'd roll with it.

Rudducks main blow was a long punch. Certainly it could land and generally I’d choose a KO puncher over Norton. However Rudduck was SUCH a one trick pony/limited hwt that in this instance I could see Ken outboxing him over the distance.
