    Other fighters worth mentioning:
    Edwin Rosario
    Julian Jackson
    Felix Trinidad

Interestingly all 3 do have good textbook skills but they were so focused on KOing an opponent that their skills regressed overtime and became more of a straight forward power puncher.

If we are talking power in terms of his power, George Foreman. He just came to knock you out. Ali just used psychological warfare and stamina to eventually get the best of him.

Foreman could cut of the ring incredibly well, Wilder is more one dimensional since he chases opponents when he's on offence

    Don't be naive.

Wilder scored very few knockouts in his brief 35-fight amateur career. He still managed to win the US Nationals, make the Olympic team and win a bronze medal. By comparison, Usyk fought in the same division in the same Olympics and didn't medal. (And Usyk had 10 times as many fights.)

Wilder discovered his power as a pro and now relies on it. But don't pretend he can't box.

He boxed his way to a national amateur championship, an Olympic medal and the WBC title.

Being a very lucky genentically fighter also helped. His range/height is very hard to match.

If you are acting like wilder has good "fundamentals" in boxing, quit posting.

Wilder closes the distance much faster than Foreman did. Foreman had to be on top of you to land.

Wilder was six feel away from Breazeale and two seconds later he was heading to a neutral corner and Breazeale was flat on his back.

He does but against a mover, like Spilka, he was chasing him and wasn't effective at all in reaching him, that brutal KO was from a counter punch

Breazeale was a sitting duck. Wilder is definitely quicker than Foreman tho, not disputing that

Yes, genetics won him those medals/belts. (LOL).

    Best genes win? Okay Goebbels.

    You're a joke.

If you think wilders a good "boxer", instead of a good "puncher", then you are a joke.

    Instead of?

Don't try to cover your butt. You're the one who said he couldn't do anything but punch.

I pointed out he boxed his way to the national amateur championship, the Olympic Bronze and the WBC title (when he suffered a broken hand), all of which he did.

Then you said he only accomplished those boxing-related things because of his GENES (whatever fhe hell that means).

I never heard of someone being awarded points in an amateur fight because of their GENES.

It's not the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. They don't watch you walk back and forth and award you points for your gait and your teeth.

You get points in the amateurs for landing scoring blows ... Genius.

Yes. Did you see his amateur fights? Which fights did he win because of height?

    Let's see your list?

    Or go away, Himmler.

You better put that "gene" nonsense away quick.
