Why is the biggest laughing stock in boxing - an irrelevent and past it boxer getting paid millions to first fight some Indian bum nobody and now Dib -one of the weakest ex world champions ever and a featherweight - 4 weights below him. Doesn't make no sense to me? How is he getting paid that much? Are Saudi Arabians really that desperate and have that low standards. It's all a big comedy show with Amere Con.

If someone offered me that amount of money to fight a nobody I certainly wouldn’t be turning it down.

We all know Khan is looking for pay days these days so I can’t say I’m surprised

Khan actually donates a lot his wealth to other causes and has set up various foundations to help the less fortunate.
I won’t begrudge it. He’s give his life to the sport, been ridiculed over and over but yet been very successful. Doesn’t shout about all the good things he does either. Fair play to him I think.

Yeah I know Mavin. But who is paying him this obsurd amount of money for such a joke fight? Is it a dumb Saudi Arabian billionaire or something?

Should have at least got some top 30 half decent welter

no lol, he's had a hard and entertaining career, no one should moan about him fleecing some easy paydays.

Laughing stock? 99% of boxers dream of achieving what he has. Go to your local club and watch the lads slugging it out preparing for the next ABAs. Khan has done amazing.

Because his management are doing their job
If people are paying it then why not
He got offered it, accepted, would be more of a food to turn it down.
    End of

Obviously no one would turn it down

But I just don't understand how Amir Khan of all people is deserving of it

The guy hasn't been a world champion since 2011, was never a p4p fighter, will never be in the hall of fame, hasn't won a meaningful fighy in years, and is a ridiculed comedy act who has the worst chin in the sport.

If it was a iconic great fighter like Klitschko/Mayweather/Pacquaio I could understand! But its Amir Khan!

It comes down to race and religion at the end of the day, because someone of Khans level shouldnever be deserving of things like this. Saudis must have low standards and view him as a superstar lol

    It really annoys me!

    Let’s look at it....

Fans want to see khan vs brook so that sells and instead we get khan vs nobody gives a crap about

I don’t understand? If Hearn wants to make money then make the fight that’s sells and fans want

Don't forget that when this event was originally muted the WBC Pearl belt was on the line, hence the huge purse.

Khan has earned more than this year than Brook has in his career, whatever happens, I think we know who's winning.

This has nothing to do with Hearn. Khan is a free agent and has been given a rumoured £7m payday to fight Dib.

He knows this is an easy fight and the Brook fight will still be there afterwards. Let’s face it Khan has not given the fans the fight they want but in all probability he got £11m for his last two fights and will still have the Brook fight on the table.

When hearn was involved and it was going to be a part matchroom show he said the numbers doing the rounds weren't correct.

Suspect its still a big payday for not a lot though. Almost as if there is money to burn over there.
