Rooney would have told him howw to adjust and Bowe was easy to hit.

Tough fight for Tyson. I've always thought that Bowe was wrong for him. That said, Bowe wasn't invincible by any means. All hinges on whether Tyson becomes discouraged and gives up when he isn't able to to get Bowe out of there in the first half couple of rounds or whether he carries on applying pressure until he eventually lands something. Very difficult fight to call. My head says Tyson but my heart says Bowe.

 

Tyson's glass mind isn't gonna go back together. Maybe Superglue but can't have that back I the corner.

 

Bowe by close points win.Just better on the inside

 

If your Eddie Futch what's your gameplan for Bowe? What's cooking in the lab.
Maybe tell Big Daddy to be Big Daddy. Make donuts available at camp. Pizza and beer for dinner. Push Mike back all nite like he's a side of Vegetables.

Bowe has a better chin and jab than Douglas, his overhand right would eventually hurt Tyson and he'd have the power to trade the odd left hook with Mike

And hope that he doesn't get KOed in 4/5 rounds

 

Bowe wasn`t a disciplined fighter and never fought to a game plan, nor did he clinch much.

 

I agree, but that's the game plan I'd give him, he'd lose without one

 

Tyson`s right hook to the body/right uppercut combo was better than any of Bowe`s inside work and Mike could have hit Bowe with that combo all night, Tyson was also better at throwing counter hooks after slipping shots, Bowe`s defense was bad on the inside.

 

He certainly would lose without one you`re right about that, mate.

 

How bout a cross arm defense, sharpen up the elbows.
Eddie Futch would come up with something good. Bowe would have to execute it though.

 

It's a good idea but I don't think Bowe is fast enough to block both body and head shots with a cross arm
