Gorman is going to upset Dubois. I hope Joyce wins but that is not out of the question for an upset either.

Just imagine staying in a nuclear bunker with just Daniel Dubois for company. What a conversation that will be. I hope he don't get his hands on a title belt. He just don't have the charisma like the incredible Juggernaut Joe Joyce has.

Picked Dubious in Kirk's league and Gorman at the bookie event...
Covered all my bases except for the draw.

Dubois' lack of ring IQ and frankly inexperience became searingly obvious in the Johnson fight. If he can't put you away on the ropes, you're good. He's not as hard as a hitter as some believe either.

These travelers have the blueprint absolutely nailed down for beating big, lumbering strength merchants.

Gorman to win convincingly then get stiffed on points or a "very close" Dubois win on the cards is my prediction. Frank wants Dubois as the next big thing.

Hope Gorman avoids the big stuff early and breaks Dubois down sometime mid to late fight. Have a bet on it, thought the odds were ridiculous... +500. I think it's a whole hell of a lot more likely than that.

So when will the earliest prelims be on? Is anything even being shown besides the two heavyweight bouts?

I'm favouring Gorman too. Will be there to watch the fight.

It's actually quite good going to a decent card where the casual interest is not great. Hopefully means the idiots stay at home and let us enjoy the boxing.

Sunny Edwards, Liam Williams and Archie Sharp's bouts are all also shown and they will start in 3 hours from this post, I think. :nusenuse:

I've been telling the above highlighted to people for ages now. Yes, Dubois hits harder than Gorman; but I think Dubois record and stoppage ratio flatters to deceive, and Nathan can dig a bit himself -- especially with his fast, accurate left hook to the body.

Gorman might have a few tricky spells early while he works his way into the fight, but is superior to Dubois in several areas including ring IQ, punch variety, shot selection, footwork and handspeed. I fancy Nathan to figure Dubois out in the first few rounds and befuddle Dubois with his punch selection and movement, with Dubois getting more and more frustrated and just walking onto Gorman in straight lines, before Gorman breaks down Dubois and stops him in the 10th or 11th round.

I've won money on Gorman a few times now... When he stopped Turner he was like +200 to win ITD, and there was a similar number for him to win a decision against that Cojannu guy. Maybe he''s my chubby good luck charm. Third time will tell us everything...

I'm starting to think you're right re the stoppage, if not an absolute schooling from Gorman.

He has that Foreman-like draw. The speed at which the opponents could drop at any moment juxtaposed with his rhythmic laborious movement and punches.
