I thought Gorman got way to much respect here. He was never a top prospect. I'm not even sure he was a top ten undefeated heavyweight prospect, but in boxing, there is a role for these types, and we saw it tonight. Credit to Dubious for taking him out the way he did. His stock goes up. Gorman is now officially an " opponent type " to be tested by other un-defeated prospects.
I'd prefer not being reminded of that. Any growing respect for Dubois and his boxing ability? Or do you feel that Gorman was just poorly prepared/exposed?
lol 'I'd love to be a mole on the wall' when tommy takes he to meet the parents.... I know its a fly on the but that is a reference to my favourite Kevin Keegan quote, he has some absolute beauties lol
lol I don't know how many considered him a 'top' prospect but he was very poor tonight. To be fair, he looked impressive stopping Sean Turner who took Hrgovic the distance but he went into his shell after tasting Dubois' power and seemed reluctant to let his right hand go.
I was getting really nervous, and came this close to switching to Dubois in the league, but my damned pride wouldn't let me. I'd been saying Gorman beats him for a while, but in their recent outings, Dubois has been more impressive, I should have gone with my gut.
he wasn't as bad but I still found him irritating lol, he didn't know what he was on about half the time and would derail with stupid question. Now he is acting like someone in awe of seeing a jab thrown, because it suits his agenda. embarrassingly transparent
Some did, and felt he was top 5 heavyweight prospect. No way, he didn't hit hard enough and had the reach of a 1960's heavyweight. I called Dubois to finish him in 5. On the money. My gut tells me to go with the one with the biggest gut but the Fat Jinx has been broken now lol. I thought Dubois' power might be the difference but I had no idea how sturdy Gorman's whiskers were so it was a tough one to predict.
Actually, I just Googled Molly Mae and Tommy has my sympathies. What the ****, man. That face is awful.
