Okay, I think Bud is the best pfp boxer in the sport. I want him to get his chance to knock out those PBC boys.

So which welterweight(s) should I be rooting for?

Really? Please tell me how you think this fight goes? I think Bud wins this one with UD. Bud's boxing IQ and adaptability is something I don't see Spence having.

Spence, Bud will school him without so much as breaking a sweat. Pacquiao, Thurman and Porter all bring variables to the table that Spence is lacking. Not saying Bud can't beat them, just that they'd be more of a stylistic issue for him than Spence would be.

for starters, his footwork, it gets criminally overlooked by otherwise knowledgeable posters. its what made mikey so easy to beat. by extension of that same point, his ring iq. he was smart enough to stick to the perfect strategy, to make easy work of mikey. a strategy he had not used on anyone else. mikey, who has outstanding footwork himself, could not match the speed and distance that spences footwork could, so he was never given the mid range, where he could counter. every time mikey advanced, spence was gone. that team knows what theyre doing, and they know what they got.
durability. spence not only hits hard, he can ride out your best, hes got the size and strength to do it. i dont think bud can match him there, current weights notwithstanding.
age. bud is currently 31, at the tail end of his prime, both physically, and technically, theres not much left for him to learn. spence is 2 years younger, absolute prime physically, but is still growing technically. by the time this fight happens they will have crossed paths in opposite directions already, in this regard.

I think Crawford dispatches the whole PBC 147 division. Yes, even Errol Spence. Why besides all that was mentioned the #1 reason for me is "ACTIVITY". He may not be fighting the echelon of 147,who the hell is nowadays unless you are a C or B level guy, but Bob keeps Crawford fighting. Spence, Garcia, Thurman, and Porter have been not been very active for their age and ability and it has shown in their fights as of recent. Bud is still sharp, strong, and smart. I can't see Bud getting worked by a shot Josesito Lopez like Thurman or getting outboxed by Ugas like Porter, or having to fight a blown up lightweight again to look impressive like Cherry Garcia. Those PBC boys are pure **** at 147.

    Ya'll musta forgot!!!!

This guy is the most pathetic on the list. I always say if a man signs for a fight even if he is out of his league then the win is the win and the loss is a loss, but Danny Garcia gets 1000 passes every time for fighting lightweights at higher weight classes. This **** sucker is truly working my nerve with these tune up fighting against the c class of 135. Danny has been trash since leaving 140. He use to be somebody.

I like them all but Crawford has not fought anyone that people think he would lose to in order to be considered the best fighter in the world today.

I love Bud Crawford but believe he will lose to Erroll Spence otherwise known as the Truth. They are both skilled excellent technical boxer punchers with speed. In fact Bud might be ever so slightly more skillful emphasis on the word might! However in a contest between them it won’t matter and Spence’s greater physical strength, size and power will be the difference as in a unification there will be no need for the 2nd weigh in on the morning of the fight for no more than 10 pounds 157, which means Spence fully rehydrates.

They should root for PAC to win by a violent KO and then retire, they should then root for Spence so that we can get the fight everyone wants, which is Crawford vs Spence! Everything else is just silly.

That sounds like a good scenario to me. I'm not really worried about any of the fighters in the weight class, I just want to root for the scenario to play out that gives him the best chance to actually fight one of them. But if Pac KOs Thurman; hee aint retiring, right? Too much $ out there.

Bud will expose Spence. If he couldn't hurt Mikey, then he damn aint hurting Bud.

Bud's lateral movement is gonna give Spence fits.

They should probably just root for whichever of those fighters they like the most, unless they are some sort of weird fanboy who can only obsess about one fighter. On the Pac Thurman fight I am torn as I like both, for the sake of the sport moving into the next era I slightly want Thurman but Pac closing out his career with a big win would be huge. Hopefully Spence can beat Porter as Porter is just barely below the top level and I want to see the top guys mix it up. Danny Garcia needs to pull himself back up, but personally wouldn't be pulling for him.

No way are those guys harder match ups for Crawford than Spence is.

I don't know if I am weird fanboy, but I do want to see him get a shot at some of these big fights against other title holders. I am afraid there is a chance Spence cleans house and then decides to move up weight classes. I am not so sure he wants to fight Crawford.
