    What a gut punch. Hate to read news like this, and makes you always realise just how short life is, so make the most of it while you got it, and never take anything or anyone for granted.

    RIP Sweetpea. One of the best damn defensive fighters period.

    Yeah, he was one of those pioneers that boxing as a whole learns from because there wasn't anyone else like him before he came along.

    He deserves a special place in every boxing fan's heart.

    Genuinely devastated at this news. Along with Roy Jones he was the guy who made me fall in love with boxing. RIP champ, one of the best of all time.

    Best defense to offense I have ever seen. The man was fluidly evasive and nobody has ever been able to do it like Pea. You simply cannot teach what he did. Legend. I was seriously sad when I heard this morning. One of my all time favorites.
