I'm disappointed that he has to beat Canelo three times and not receive credit for it.

Can you give examples of fights he was unwilling to take?

Fights that's were pre Canelo 1 please?

Prepare for much bleating about fighters not in his weight division that he said he'd fight anyway.

Knew there wasn't a snowballs chance in hell that Clenelo was fighting Kov or Callum. I'm glad for it, they were too big anyways.

GGG 3 is the best realistic fight available. Andrade is too boring.

Unfortunately, there is no way whatsoever that GGG can win any decision. He needs to go for broke against Clenelo. KO or be KO'd.

I think he has that mentality and understands it...I hope... at some point he realizes the judges are bought and paid for, right??

I'm a fight fan and my number one priority as a fan is that fighters fight the best consistently.

Golovkin has repeatedly said for years, as far back as 2012, and as recent as 2017 that he would fight anyone between 154-168.

In that time frame several fighters have called his bluff that include Erislndy Lara, Austin Trout, Demetrius Andrade, Andre Ward, Gilberto Ramirez, Derevyanchenko, BJ Saunders, Jermall Charlo.

You can also include GGGs refusal of giving Jacobs the rematch, and also how he was actually unwilling to fight Canelo unless he got 5 times his highest payday.

As a boxing fan it's frustrating seeing a talented champion like GGG refuse to take challeneges, I can imagine the frustration GGG fans feel.

The IBFs 10 lb rehydration rule is not so many concessions.

The trilogy fight won’t happen this September. They ran out of time.

Pretty much since the Brook fight, age and speed are were catching up. It was about the money at that point and quite rightly so. Jacobs gave a career best performance against Golovkin and it wasn't enough.

He got his 2 Canelo fights and didn't get the verdict in either but got paid.

BJS and Charlo are irrelevant. Before Saunders schooled a worn Lemieux in 12, GGG battered a prime latter in 7!

154lbs was mentioned purely to entice Mayweather.

Avoiding Ward at 168lbs, if this was actually the case, was nothing less than wise.

Canelo is a top fighter, no denying that fact, however Golden boy waited to pounce at the right time. GGG still won both fights in the eyes of the majority.

When you fight best you get close fights especially when you fight guy's who were as slick as prime Trout and Lara

    1. The venue? That's a stretch. Nearly all mega fights are held in Vegas.

    2. That's also a stretch. When was the last time WW challenged for MW titles and the MW champion conceded to a catch-weight like Canelo did? Tito fought Mayorga at the full 160 and GGG fought Brook at the full 160.

    3. I'm not a big fan of rehydration clauses, the IBF has them though, and I do recall many Canelo critics being against weighing excessively on fight night.

So you didn't prove much aside Canelo using his A side for a rehydration clause which I had already acknowledged.
