Miguel Cotto fought everyone in their prime and he was clean the entire time. He deserves more!

    Exactly
Kwan is a 5 time world champ, 9 time national champ, also one of the highest paid female athletes but always came up short at the Olympics.

I'm not trying to hate, i was always a big Cotto fan but there is no denying he almost always came short during the big fights.

Cotto's patented low body attack was more dangerous to opponents than P.E.D.s

    Cotto is my boy.
I followed his career, and especially loved those body shots that he throws with so much mean intentions.
Was very happy for him when he TKOd Cheato finally on the rematch.
That answered a lot of doubts that he had in him.

Hold up!!! Cotto was putting a BEATING on Pacquiao? When?! During the staredown? Pac was dominating from the start. There is no proof Pac was taking anything. But there is proof that Cotto never beat an healthy A+ fighter.

    So much wrong here.

You are trying to build Zab up into something more than he was. He was not "the man" and had not only been clipped at 140 and lost to Mayweather....

Tszyu out boxed and laid out a prime Zab with two perfect flush right hands down center.
Zab was defeated soundly by Baldomir at 147 prior to facing Mayweather.

It was a controversial fight to be sure, but Cotto slowed down and was gassing when Marg started catching him. Cotto kept getting trapped on the ropes and couldn't elude anything.

You sound seriously insane here. Pac was not proven a cheat, and was already cemented as an ATG after blowing out Morales, Barrera, and then upsetting the Golden Boy.

The Shakes kicked in? Steroids don't even work that way.

Cotto was boxing okay in the early rounds before he started getting knocked all over the ring. He wasn't putting a beating on anyone. Come one, man, we've all seen the fight who are you trying to fool here?

Cotto was an elite master fighter that had to fight cheats of the highest level with all of his might. Cotto had to fight a doped up Mosley, a cement handed Margarito, a doped up Pacquiao, a possibly doped up Mayweather, a possibly doped up Canelo and he had to conform to all of these fighters as the B side dropping weight, taking x amount of money, being subjected to possible permanent harm from cheats just gor guys to bash him as a diva. No way! **** that!
I've seen guys whine about Golovkin getting cheated on the cards, which he wasn't, Kovalev getting hit low when he wasn't, Lomachencko getting low blowed by Salido, blah ,blah, blah. People refuse to accept that Miguel Cotto is a beast that fought all the cheats and DESERVED a few easy fights here and there.

Broner is a four division champ too...

Cotto was a good fighter, and sure, he'll make the HOF - there's lesser guys than Cotto in the HOF.

But would I consider Cotto a great? HELLLLLLL no!

Cotto did NOT TKO Antonio Margarito The NY doc. probably the one that insisted Tony break training & fly across country so they could "Ensure his eye was OK for fight to go on" ROFL This was only a couple of weeks before fight date. Do you honestly think they'd stop the fight happening ? It was just another ploy. That doc stopped the fight to save Cowardly Cotto QUITTING AGAIN!!! He still couldnt beat a one eyed Margarito The doc had to baill him out

Anytime someone hates on Cotto I see them as immediately suspect.

This myth is persisting? Cotto won the round before the stoppage big.

He won a lot of the rounds in the first fight too. Was probably ahead on most viewers cards going into the 11th round. But he just couldn't take the pain. He wasn't exhausted to the point that he couldn't continue. He wasn't groggy or dazed. Margarito had more energy left in his reserves than Cotto did and was coming on late. And Cotto just finally said, I can't take it anymore, it hurts, I quit.

What constitutes “hating”? Is critiquing a career that is unfavorable to your view of a fighter hating?

Outside of being near even with an aged Mosley who was 9 years older than him, he just wasn't good enough to beat these guys.

Cotto as a victim is also hard to buy and not doing him any favors. Cotto had a huge advantage in his Puetro Rican fanbase, which played a huge part in him being able to secure so many of these big payday fights and some favorable officiating and judging.

I know this place is cheaper than a therapist but you should find a more healthier outlet for your hatred of European boxers...oh excuse me, generalized fans of European boxers. That distinction is important..I guess.
