I'm not trying to hate, i was always a big Cotto fan but there is no denying he almost always came short during the big fights.

Do you honestly think they'd stop the fight happening ? It was just another ploy. That doc stopped the fight to save Cowardly Cotto QUITTING AGAIN!!! He still couldnt beat a one eyed Margarito The doc had to baill him out

He won a lot of the rounds in the first fight too. Was probably ahead on most viewers cards going into the 11th round. But he just couldn't take the pain. He wasn't exhausted to the point that he couldn't continue. He wasn't groggy or dazed. Margarito had more energy left in his reserves than Cotto did and was coming on late. And Cotto just finally said, I can't take it anymore, it hurts, I quit.

Cotto as a victim is also hard to buy and not doing him any favors. Cotto had a huge advantage in his Puetro Rican fanbase, which played a huge part in him being able to secure so many of these big payday fights and some favorable officiating and judging.
