I would agree that using loaded gloves is BS. But the guy didn't load his gloves. If he did he would be in jail right now for attempted murder.

Yes boxing is corrupt. I actually analyzed the Margarito situation. And I read up on everything and how basically the whole thing is based on Richardson's word. And I'm sitting here going, nah, I need more than that. If he really used plaster of paris then why is he still a free man?

Could you imagine Margarito quitting ever? This guy was hit with 40, 50, 60 flush bombs by steroid Mosley. Sometimes 3 or 4 consecutive bombs straight on the face by roided up Mosley. And Margarito wasn't even groggy. He could barely even buzz Margarito. This same Mosley had Mayweather ready to go after just eating 1 of those flush shots.

And Margarito's face was broken by Pacquiao. Dude literally got his face broken and he didn't even think about quitting. In fact, he's walking Pac down the entire fight.

Totally different level of fighter here when discussing Cotto and Tony.

You guys want to see a real warrior? How about Andy Ruiz??? He was dropped hard and heavy by Joshua. But did he run away to the corner to hide and take a knee? No, he gathered his courage and threw bombs back and lit Joshua's ass up. No quitting from Andy!!!!!!!

How do you explain the pictures of Margarito's wraps in the ring after he took off his gloves? Margarito's wrap was broken over the knuckles. How does a hand wrap rip apart like that, there was a gaping hole with jagged edges over his knuckle. I don't see how human sweat or impact could create such a large jagged hole in a wrap over the knuckle.

The most pathetic scene I've ever seen in boxing was Margarito vs Cotto 2

A shot old disabled semi blind inactive Margarito dredged out of retirement.

Cotto does nothing but target he's disabled blind eye

    Margarito walks through everything again

Cotto starts huffing, running and getting ready to quit

    Doctors stop a bemused Margarito

Cotto stands in the ring staring like he made some sort of point

    Lol this is boxing
lol this is boxing, outside of it with our without illegal hand wraps both men would be arrested for attempted murder. He wasn’t arrested because it was deemed as cheating in a sport rather than a criminal offence. You have to ask yourself:
    1) why did Margarito not know what’s in his hands? How can you say you’re not doing anything illegal yet not know what’s going either? Classic case of playing the ignorance card to absolve himself from the crime.
    2) why did he divorce himself from his trainer?
    3) why did margarito’s own manager say a gauze fell out? Lol. What gauze?
    4) why was it confiscated? It wouldn’t have been if it wasn’t suspect.
    5) why did he get banned? In boxing world that’s the equivalent of jail.
    6) how do you explain the picture that showed it cracking? Ever had you hands wrapped? That doesn’t happen.

Margo loaded for sure, almost as much evidence as Floyd outright getting caught but funny enough, logically, there’s way more evidence to Floyd cheating because of how everything transpired.

He took the knee cuz he was not half the warrior he pretended to be.
From raising his hand after every landed blow 2 being pulped and puffed up, bleeding like a 14 year old girl on her 1st period lol.
    Good job, kneeguel, good job.
He was out classed, out muscled, out hustled in this fight.
More embarrassing than Kirkland getting pulverised by Ishida.
After this fight, he showed his real color on his ring attire. A pastel pink fairy.

I used to not understand how people could hate on a boxer for quitting in a match.

Now I understand those people have never sparred with gloves, gotten socked in the face, or been in a tussle at all. Genuinely.

These same people would have a fit if they got a paper cut and yet criticize Cotto for stopping a beating that could have permanently impaired him. I am surprised that he didn't take a knee sooner.

Truth here!! I may be give posters here crap, but I at least don't insult the guys who get in the ring. Or even if one just hates Cotto irrationally... the guy stepped in the ring w/ most all his contemporary peers. Don't think anyone else can make that claim.
