Bakhodir Jalolov will face German Skobenko on July 24 in Russia. Skobenko’s a tougher journeyman who’s never been off his feet, and his only stoppage losses come to pretty heavy punchers in Romanov and Davtaeav in the later rounds of their respective fights. Eager to see if Jalolov can knock him down and stop him early.

Indeed. I half expected him to get beat here. Chaney showed a lot of improvement in this fight, way more relaxed and fluid than he’s ever looked. I guess it’s generally a good sign when you send your opponent flying through the ropes like a surfacing whale.

 

I was expecting him to have trouble too. I assume he's signed some sort of deal with top rank?

 

He's still with Main Events, but there may be some co-promotion deal with Top Rank like Kovalev has.

Impossible to say with the quality of the Olympic judges. The field is unknown. Whomever gets gold or silver in the World Amateur Championships held September 7–21 2019, which is the best amateur boxing tournament around should medal in the 2020 games.

Young Marko Milun has great ability, but he's young. But by the summer of 2020 he could be the man to beat.
