What are you extrapolating that from? At no point was Dadashev outlanding him to an extent that you could say increasing his power or dialing Matías' resistance down would result in creating an opening for a Dadashev stoppage.

Yeah Rougarou is one of the worst people you could dial up for Matias. It'd be like Matias was facing a leveled up version of himself, with Regis having extra skills to boot

McGirt, what a class act. And thank God he stopped it.

this is getting worrisome. i could tell quite early he was taking the kind of punishment bodies arent built to handle. he could have a ruptured spleen, torn liver, or a number of other abdominal injuries.

I wouldn't be surprised if we hear Dadashev go into a coma after that showing. Sad stuff. Mcgirt may have just saved his life

I understand that, but to me you could see that Dadashev was badly hurt, so time is of the essence. When a fighter is that badly hurt, you just pull the plug and get him out of there as quickly as possible.

Maybe he didn't look as badly hurt to them in the corner right after the round. But he certainly looks very bad now...I just hope he's not seriously hurt/injured.

Matias needs to take a 3-month layoff. He may have won it but he took a lot of punishment as well. That was a hell of a fight. I just hope Dadashev is OK.

Dasheev is an arm puncher with constant movement never sat down on a single punch.

    There you go.

He should have been on a stretcher from ringside. Boxing just doesn't seem to learn from previous problems. I hope and pray Dadashev is O.K.

They need to take him to the hospital now, that was terrifying, my sister had a stroke, and her nose started running uncontrollably, and she started vomiting like that. This isn't good news at all. He has a traumatic brain injury 100%. Hopefully it's not all that severe. But they need to act quickly.

I've been concussed on 3 occasions and throwing up is not uncommon. When concussed that means there is bleeding on the brain where the person must be awakened throughout the night. I think he will be OK. I think it was a combination of a concussion and sheer exhaustion. Prayers are with him.
