Was just thinking about this myself. Price has the skills and power to give anyone trouble, but I think we'd be getting hugely carried away to favour him over Wilder, even after that decent display. Wilder's better stamina would tell and he'd end up landing something big. Good on Pricey though, I really hope he can build on this - will be a huge confidence boost which is what he needed.
Price should aim for Charr no idea why he has a piece of a heavyweight title plus he is clearly the worst of the champs and Price could beat him.
Um David Price has no skills. He has no technique and is slow as molasses. He can't take a punch and has no stamina.
I really don't think it's hyperbole to say Wilder would knock him out inside 2 rounds. Even if Price kept a high guard, Wilder's first right hand would stagger him. The moment Price has his hands even remotely low is the moment he gets knocked out cold. He's not a bad fighter but that chin has to be the absolute worst I've seen in the HW division in a long time. He's also suffered from well known stamina issues in the past although he did look good tonight against a below average fighter in Dave Allen. I'm terribly disappointed with Allen's performance, it was underwhelming to say the least. It would be a moral victory for David if he could make it out of the opening round with Wilder. I haven't seen one punch KO power from a boxer like him in a long time, probably since Julian Jackson.
Price suffered brutal defeats in his career, the last one against povetkin. If he got caught by Wilder, I would worry much about his health...
Most likely Wilder by devastating brutal KO, worse than Povetkin KO possibly....but who knows, maybe Price going 11 rounds has shifted some of the nervous energy he has that seems to gas him
