i dont think it was carelessness tbh, jennings just relies too heavily on a high guard defence without moving his head. rivas got through that guard after 12 rounds of trying. that was a tough loss.

    Round 1 Rivas 10-9
    Round 2 Whyte 10-9
    Round 3 Whyte 10-9
    Round 4 Whyte 10-9
    Round 5 Whyte 10-9
    Round 6 Whyte 10-9
    Round 7 Rivas 10-9, close

Rivas launches a sustained flurry for the first minute, Whyte lands a few counters to the body, Rivas still plodding forward, landig in combination, he nicks it on activity.

    Round 1: 10-9, Rivas
    Round 2: 10-9, Whyte
    Round 3: 10-9, Whyte
    Round 4: 10-9, Whyte
    Round 5: 10-9, Whyte
    Round 6: 10-9, Whyte
    Round 7: 10-9, Rivas

Rivas seemed to find a second wind, pressed the action. May have something to do with Whyte taking a breather.

I thought Rivas nicked that round by coming forward and landing some good body shots.

    But still, Whyte 6-1

Finally Rivas takes it to Whyte, but Whyte is landing some good bodyshots
