There's no way that you can compare those wins by Floyd to Pacquiao over Thurman. Guererro was a shell of his former self by the time he fought Floyd. Ortiz was a good win but how he won that was hugely controversial with the sucker punch. Also Ortiz wasn't undefeated, he already had been stopped and had 2 lossse and 2 draws on his record. Thurman was undefeated and is a much better win than Floyd over Ortiz. Not only that, but Floyd was still in his early 30s when he fought Ortiz. Pacquiao is 40. It makes this win much more impressive at that age. And lets be real, Thurman is a way better fighter than Victor Ortiz ever was.

Did you see what Thurman did to Guerrero? There's levels to this ****. Thurman is no Crawford, but Guerrero is no Thurman.

When you have a response like that it’s pretty obvious who’s actually the one mad. :)

What are you even talking about?

Guererro was prime which is why I say it's comparable to a past his best Thurman. Guererro actually was seeing pfp lists at the time unlike Thurman. Both Floyd and Pac gave up large age disadvantages. One difference is that Floyd won by a landslide whereas Pac won by about a point.

Ortiz was regarded at least as highly as last night's Thurman. That's why I made the comparison.

Do you understand that Guererro was a shot face-first slugger by that time?

He was a tricky boxer back when the Floyd fight happened.

What are you talking about? That beating Victor Ortiz and Guerrero in your early to mid 30s is a better win than beating undefeated Thurman at 40 years old? GTFOH lmao.

Guerrero was a shell of his former self by the time he fought Floyd. Guerrero a few years earlier may have given Floyd fits but he had checked it in by the time he fought Floyd. He was also hugely distracted by getting arrested for trying to bring a gun on an airplane. Somebody who could be so stupid to try and bring a gun on to a commercial airplane isn't in his right mind. He was mentally checked out by the time be fought Floyd. A few years earlier Guerrero was a tough customer, but he lost that edge by the time he fought Floyd.

He was a solid fighter a few years before he fought Floyd. Him getting arrested for bringing that gun on to the plane put a wrench into any shot he had at beating Floyd. He just didn't have the kind of preparation needed to have a shot at beating Floyd.

That's a cop-out. He was well prepared but was the worse fighter. The counterpunching Guererro was attempting in the beginning of the Floyd fight was high level but Floyd was too good to get caught.

He stopped boxing in favor of slugging at some point after the Floyd fight and became much more beatable.

He was a good fighter, but even at his best he was never in the same league as Thurman. And he was clearly distracted and not at his best when he fought Floyd. It was a very easy fight for Floyd.
