Squat - 20kg for 1000reps Deadlift - 30kg kettlebell Bench press - pushing the extra thick duvet off me in the winter when I wake up.
I hate working out, but when I did I could bench 150. I could have probably worked my way up to 200, but I've got wicked OCD, and couldn't shake the image I had in my head of my throat being crushed.
you never really know when youre under a weight if it slips your ****ed, ive had to roll about 200lb down my chest and my knees once being too confident doing about 5 or so reps and it was pretty ****ing heavy. atleast with a squat you can drop the weight off your back, deadlifts you can just let go. even overhead press you can just put it back down to your chest and put it down. with benchpress you definitely a spotter. incoming badasses: i bench 400lb with complete confidence in my ability to do a sit up with it and drop on the floor with no pain!
Lay off the haterade. You are maybe strong in the eye of the weak, public gym strong so to say. Downloading a excel spreadsheet is NOT doing sheiko, smolov, etc. I am a lifetime athlete, blessed with extraordinary bone density and tendon strength, so I was born with some advantages that you will never ever have access to .
I don't know if you are messing around or not but this is the difference between the abnormally strong and your average person getting strong....there was a strong man in Canada Victor DeLamarre 5'4" 150lbs who was one of the strongest man in the time after Louis Cyrs prime though some say stronger who was a smaller man with dense muscles whom when he died it was discovered he had a spine 4 inches thick and double tendons...big joints tend to hide extraordinary tendons and ligaments but cannot account for the density of the fibers....grip strength guys like the great Danny Hodge from Oklahoma was known for even as an old man to still crush apples with 1 hand....he suspects he was born with double strength and dense hand tendons...when he was a professional wrestler I have read many wrestler did not like working with him in matches because his hands were so strong he hurt other wrestlers when he grabbed them. https://legendarystrength.com/victor-delamarre/
You're really overestimating yourself here. Get into the big leagues before telling us you are genetic freak.
Its because the overhead press puts your shoulder in a certain degree of external / lateral rotation. That's where the problem is, go over 90 degrees flexion then it can cause issues. Id also say the incline bench is very tough on the shoulders too
At 80kg. Bp -110kg Dead lift - 140kg, i could get more but im not risking my back. Squats - 220kg. My strongest lift id say, years of playing soccer have helped. I could do more but im not risking my knees Bench press is slightly low due to long arms and anything more than that ruining my shoulders. Im stepping back from strength gains for the next few months, going to do marathon training programme and focus on core strengthening and weights. The heavy weight workouts were destroying my body. I was doing heavy sessions 6 days a week onto of a hard work schedule. I was in great shape but its not sustainable. Iv no intention of lifting that heavy ever again.
Hello mate, I have a very large tabby cat that sleeps on my chest when I'm lying down watching the TV and sometimes I can't get him off and I have to stay on the sofa all night as I can't get it off. What makes it worse is when my TV gadget is too far away and I have to sleep with the TV on still blaring in the background, what exercises do you suggest for that? To get the cat off me when I want to go to bed.
Tbh mate he demands food every minute of the day and he's quite hard. I feel like a battered housewife sometimes. I had to tackle him once and got the better off him with a decent headlock but that was me at 100% and he had just woken up.
