I wouldn’t put Mayweather ahead of Duran if he had a better resume’ than Pac. Duran’s win over DeJesus is probably on par with anything Pac has done and Duran probably has the best win ever at welterweight with his win over Leonard. Duran is top ten, Pac is probably top thirty.

It's not the power or the speed that anybody finds suspicious.
It's the workrate with every punch being hard and fast even though he had put on a lot of muscle.
Evander Holyfield slowed down when he bulked up and he was on juice.
Pacquiao had incredible stamina and workrate to go with his speed and power which is a combination that just doesn't happen.

You can't be a sprinter and an elite marathon runner at the same time.

Coincidentally the stamina drug that Miller was recently banned for was undetectable and didn't have a test for it until right around the time Pacquiaos punch output drastically dropped.

GW1516 was rampantly abused at the 2008 Olympics as well

And like I said in another thread Floyd and Marquez are also dirty but that doesn't make PAC clean.

But since you can't prove it definitively you gotta take his wins at face value.

One win over Ray who was rather inexperienced at that point and fought Duran's fight does not make him over Manny and all those fights against Morales and Barrera and Delahoya and Mosley and Cotto. .. Duran fought better guys than Manny ever did this is true, so the post above saying something about Manny's resume being better no. Duran did not beat them, but he fought them all and that means something. He fought Hearns, Leonard, Benitez, Hagler , Cuevas. DeJesus, Buchanan. Those guys right there especially the first 5 are better than anyone Manny ever fought. But as far as wins, Manny has better wins. You cannot take that from him. And the fact Ray beat Duran so easily the next two times once he boxed. You cannot say Duran has better wins, but Duran fought better guys. Odd thinking but. To fight the best I do give guys credit for. But to say beating Ray in June 1980 in one fight eclipses any win Manny has when Ray came back and beat him easily is rather ridiculous.

If I saw correctly according to an ESPN graphic, Pacquiao is the fifth oldest boxer to win or regain the world championship. Additionally, he is now the oldest boxer to win or regain the world welterweight championship. He just keeps padding on to his resumé.

    I didn't even realise it was a debate...Pacquiao legacy far exceeds Duran's

The main criticism here is that 147 elite during Pac’s 147 career has been Mayweather, Spence, and Crawford. He’s 0-1 with a lopsided loss to the group.

Duran also started below 120 pounds and was able beat a decent middleweight champ in Barkley and Castro at 168 while ancient and irrelevant.

Never said others being dirty has anything to do with Mannys guilt or innocence. The rest of your post is nonsense and im putting that as mildly and nicely as I can.

Let Pacquiao fight and beat Spence and Crawford. Then we can talk about it.

When you throw in Duran's wins over former and future titleholders Marcel, Ishimatsu, Mamby and Castro, and take into consideration that the Leonard win is better than anything on Pac's resume, I'd say Duran's legacy is greater. Pac's doing well to add to his, though.

Hes already beaten a guy way more accomplished than either of them. Destroyed Barrera. Which is the best win of the last 16 years.

Would still give it to Duran though cuz he beat Leonard. But Pac closed the gap a little last night.

Bernard doped...feel better? He hooked up with Mackie Shilstone who just happens to be the muscle-gain guru for boxers moving up in weight: Michael Spinks, Roy Jones Jr, Bernard Hopkins. You can also throw in his client Serena Williams, because hey, if she doesn’t shout being clean then nobody does.
RJJ, the Klitschkos, JMM, Manny, Floyd, Holyfield, Shane Mosley, Toney, Vargas - they all doped. Some tested positive, some didn’t.

I checked Pacquiaos punch outputs on a timeline before and found nothing drastic about it. It declined steadily over time.

The Mayweathers accused Pac of PEDs just because nobody has ever done what pac has done. That is moving up in weight and continue winning. Im really glad the Mayweathers were not there when Hank Armstrong did the impossible back then. F*** you Floyd nuthuggers
