or have the guy name one athlete in any sport who is the top of his game at 35-40 any sport where high levels of fitness are essential in all of history. Its almost as if boxers tend to retire before they get to 40 or is that just my imagination?

Surely if the body doesnt really deteriorate that much then we will be littered with examples.

Lol that's funny. "Its almost as if boxers tend to retire before they get to 40 or is that just my imagination".

I like you would really love to see 1 single example of a guy over 40 who had the fitness to just keep coming non stop and destroy the opponent.

Just 1. All we are asking for.

Alot of people thought he was juiced this common, he looked much better than he did against Broner. No testing so there will be speculation. With that said until he tests dirty he's clean.

So because the guy has an opinion on this he's an *******? BTW you don't know how good or bad he will be he's just 20 years old and has his whole career in front of him.

Disagree that he looked much better than against Broner. I thought he looked great in that fight too.

Manny has always had an excellent sense of a round coming to a close and putting pressure on at this last point. Thought he did that well.

Broner is slippier than Thurman. He in no way looked close to his prime in either. Back then he was a whirlwind

Foreman walked through everything from Moorer at 45 and Holyfield at 42. Also are you saying Pacquiao just kept coming and destroyed Thurman?

Anyway, there are A LOT of boxers that box on in their 40’s. It also is possible to get faster and have just as good or better stamina after putting on mass, I personally did this at the biggest I was in my boxing career at 185lb’s, whereas before and to today I have been more around 156-170 throughout my life since I started boxing. The way you train matters, there is a lot of factors in this, I’d just say read up on exercise science maybe? The reason I kept getting bigger though was because I was training everything to failure everything I could, looking back it was an insane way of training, and no I never used weights and actually use more nowadays. I have never been as fast as I was then.

Pacquiao didn’t really add so much weight as he just stopped draining himself, and the idea that his skeleton kept growing, has anyone seen his lower weight pics?

Its not as if Pac totally dominated Keith. Pac was gassed out by the 7th round. What stamina are you talking about.

Pac was a devastating puncher at 112 to 130. The moment he moved up in weight, he had difficulty KOing guys. It took him 9 rds to beat Diaz after throwing everypunch known to man. Busted up ODLH but could not out him down. Theres a reason why his KO rate decreased when he moved up in weight. PED my ass. As for his stamina, watch his fights pre-Cotto (where this PED BS started). He had it right from the beginning. PED my ass.
Stop it already and please die already. Enjoy the only 8 division champ while he's still active.

George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins all fought past 40 and still won against top level talent. Pac beating Thurman a guy who isn't that good while being on PED's isn't anything special.

"He cant be doing this at 40"

He barely won the fight you numbnuts. This guy used to throw 1000 punches in a fight and go partying afterwards. How many did he throw tonight? He kept stretching his arms ffs. Pacman is washes up and it shows.

His workrate is far, far lower than it was in the past. And so was Foreman when he got old. Old Foreman was wrecked by a blown up 190 pounder. I swear at the end of round 9 he was getting the **** beat out of him.

You know, like FloydHype, he didn't make any comments regarding Floyd's IV use or rejection of VADA, right?

    not
How many of them were at the top of their game? and one of the of them was Evans Fields ........

None of them won their fights through speed, endurance and relentlesness they all used ring IQ and carefully selected opponents.

Funny I had said the same thing about literally any other fighter (other than Floyd) I wonder if I would get the same hate?!?!

PBF had USADA testing much better than standard NSAC testing. With that said Pac passed the standard NSAC test so he's clean. The only thing you can do is speculate like Atlas and Haney are doing. You went on record saying if you didn't do VADA testing then you're dirty not me.

Roger Federer, World #3 in tennis, at 38 years old. No one has ever lasted that long in the sport. You f***ing PED cheater! I dont see Rafael Nadal asking him to be VADA tested though
