The guy was supposed to lose to Uzcategui. And he had very little issue with Uzcategui at all. And he wasnt supposed to beat Lee that easily. Yea the outcome was a foregone conclusion. But to make it look THAT easy was unexpected. The thing is the dude is just fast man. Fast, fast, fast. Speed can be beaten with timing, but when you're that damn fast not a whole lot of guys have the timing or precision to outbox you. And his left hook just comes out of nowhere. Not a crunching left hook like Gassievs. But Plants left hook just comes in with speed and you're just thinking damn, where did that come from. Not saying hes the greatest fighter ever, but hes going to be a lot harder to beat than we thought.
Sweet hands is already one of my favorite fighters. I thought he could beat Uzcategui by outboxing him but didn't think he was durable enough to do it for a full 12 rounds. He's going to be hard to beat if he keeps boxing the way he is.
He seems to be putting it all together now. Against Jose, he boxed beautifully but he did slow down in the second half and got busted up pretty good. It was not as one sided as everyone seems to remember. I am excited. Hope to see him improve further. I was really high on Uzcategui and now I am on the Plant hype train as well.
He has been on my radar for a hot minute too Pimp. Dude is so elusive and slick. He didn’t even showboat with Lee just went for the KILL
Caleb Plant has that X-Factor — a genuine dislike and borderline hatred for all opponents. I would love to see him fight GGG or Canelo.
BJS is the guy to watch. I honestly haven't seen too much of Smith. I should check out his latest fights. One of these are bound to happen.
