I think Campbell's range and #boxeo ability make it quite competitive through the opening 6. Loma will have him worked out by then and will take over the fight. A competitive but very clear points win.

Got my ticket yesterday, let's go boys.

5.5 inches more reach? Wow, Luke does not have to stand from his stool to fight Loma !

When I first saw picture of their face-off, I didn't realize how tell Luke was compared to Loma. Looks to be an interesting fight and Luke's length may cause some problems for Lomachenko. But if Loma continues to be special, he should still pull it off and own the lineal and 3 alphabet belts.

I think Loma will win, but at the end of his career this will be viewed as one of his toughest fights. I’m also a bit concerned about Lomachenko’s motivation to be honest. I think he is a bit over boxing at the moment, I don’t think he has the excitement of a clear rival anytime soon with Mikey doing whatever he is doing. Then he has frauds like Teo calling him out, guys like Tank calling him out despite not being willing to fight him.. I think as an intelligent man he really understands how fraudulent and unsportsmanlike this pro game is. Plus he has been boxing for a long time now.

Maybe this is just because there's otherwise so few bright spots in the week leading up to it (thus raising expectations to really be "wowed") but looking at the undercard for this I'm struck by how god-awful boring it looks.

Charlie Edwards defending against the Mexican kid that upset Andrew Selby (and besides that has never fought anyone, besides ancient Edgar Sosa)? meh...

Hughie vs. Sasha? Unless this ends in a brutal KO for the Russian (which is possible but not guaranteed), you just know this is going to be something you regret tuning in for...

Buatsi vs. Ford? Eh, this leaves the same taste on my palate as sitting on a train next to an elderly bag lady queefing up a storm...

I'm hoping for a draw for some reason. Hope this kid fights his heart out in his hometown. I got Loma by stoppage late because this looks like a tune up

Being an Olympic Gold medalist doesn't mean **** in the pros. All Gold medalist aren't A or B level pros. We already know that Campbell lost the only time he stepped up to world level. And no Campbell doesn't have 5 1/2 inches of reach on Lomachenko. That is the wingspan measurement, finger tip to finger tip, which has no bearing on actual reach which is armpit to the end of the fist.

I'll be surprised if Lomachenko doesn't win this comfortably.

Continue to be a bad month for Brit Boxing. Loma will probably make Campbell quit or stop him. As soon as he figures Campbell out it's all over. He is going to do some high tech ish Campbell has never seen before.

Campbell may be underrated, he’s pretty good. I think he might put a good account of himself, similar to Linares minus the KD.

Bring from the same town Ive gotta go with my man Luke Campbell to pull of the upset, I’m shocked people think it’s gonna be easy. I can see Campbell making it awkward for Lomachenko and using his physical attributes as well as his boxing skill to make it close and maybe get a split decision with some luck of course. Lomachenko could either get a decision win or late ko

Im taking Loma UD in a closer than expected fight. I think Campbell is gonna try and make this a dogfight -- one that he eventually loses but has some success early on.

Rob Tebbutt of Boxing Social says that all of the fighters he's interviewed who've sparred Cool Hand Luke have told him how hard he hits, including Teofimo Lopez who rates him very highly. Shane McGuigan has specifically been focusing on making Campbell a bigger, stronger and more powerful 135 pounder than he was prior to them hooking up with each other.

And Cool Hand Luke has had excellent sparring for this fight against none other than the highly skilled Josh ''Jockachenko'' Taylor.

As someone who's **** on Campbell in the past he's done a lot to redeem himself and is a quality operator. I think he'll hang with Loma in the first half before things start becoming one sided and he gets stopped later or barely hangs on to see the cards. It'll look something like the Linares and Pedraza fights. This isn't a bum here this is a world glass guy with pedigree who also has a size advantage(like the aforementioned opponents) So it should be more competitive and less of a squash match.

If Luke can fight tall and off the backfoot he may give Loma some serious trouble as Loma will need to cut him off or jump in to get close. Linares had reach but he doesn’t fight like a tall person and uses high guard and still to defend, which allows Loma to pick him off.
