With Dillian's temperament, you can imagine Hearn and lawyers constantly on the phone to him telling him not to say a word and Eddie taking his twitter password and changing it to make sure.

With what they were taking and the quantity of it, they probably wouldn't even pass today's simplest tests, so much is true.
But we're on our way back to those dark times it seems.

Problem with this is if a fighter gets caught they serve a 6 month ban, Miller is a typical example, fighters see this and think ‘well I’m only going to have 2 fights this year anyway so why not?’

They need to increase the punishment! Aware of illegal substance or not there should be a fixed 2 year ban and a heavy fine!

It’s all very well saying I took something and didn’t know the drug was in it but these are professionals, they should know exactly what’s going in and out of their systems

    It’s no excuse

Highly unlikely , as much as you disagree the line Matchroom/Team Whyte have taken its perfectly within what is allowed.

VADA , UKAD and BBBC all cleared him to fight, Sky would probably have much more of a case if Matchroom HAD pulled the fight after being told by the 3 parties ALL cleared him to fight.

Promotional companies doing their own testing , not much of a conflict of interests there then !

that would be on top of UKAD, VADA etc... if promotors where to start taking a hit for their employees failing tests then they would have to take actions like this to ensure their own fighters are clean for their own agenda.

Not that the promotional company would be the only test taking place.

The cost of 3 tests per fight would prove prohibitive and all the more reason not to do it I think.

testing doesnt cost anywhere near as much as they have you believe and also would be a lot cheaper ... they wouldnt have to adopt in house testing but as soon as promoters start getting heavy fines for their employees failing tests then they would adopt in house testing to keep them on their toes.

Say for example and this is a very loose example as I cant put the figures into perspective, but Matchroom get fined £1m for Whyte failing his test then you can bet your life that they would conduct their own testing to cover their backs.

Put it this way if normal every day companies can afford to drug test their applicants for new jobs and random tests for their employees Im pretty sure sure Matchroom could.

That didn't "go away" because of Hearn it went away because Joshua isn't white.

    Just being real

What I liked about Dillian Whyte was that he was so outspoken and " kept it real " , yet in his moment of career crises he has chosen to remain radio silent.

If in the next 24 hours Dillian releases a statement prepared by his or Matchroom's legal team, the odds of him being innocent are about the same as Prince Patel and Tyan Booth jointly winning the Nobel Peace Prize for their Humanitarian work.

This is terrible news not just for Dillian but for British Boxing as a whole.

Oscar Rivas and his team need to sue the f@@@ out of everyone and set a precedent.

Eddie Hearn has also outed himself as nothing but a hypocritical snake oil's salesman, with a do as I say not do as I do mentality.

The BBBoC have let themselves down in allowing this show to go on and what point is there in WADA and UKAD testing if a person can fail a test and still be cleared to fight.

Just a theory. I'm no expert on this, so won't pretend I have any idea about the protocol. This post in another thread is very interesting though..
