I'm saying people here are not grasping the concept of weight classes and pound for pound.

If one fighter is multiple weight classes bigger in natural size which is Mayweather was against Pacquiao he should have won.

 

Thurman isnt as good as Mayweather. And most of those guys fought a way different version of Pacquiao than Mayweather did.

Mayweather is not different than those guys. They are all bigger than Pacquiao.

 

Manny is noticeably smaller than Floyd. And when you're discussion p4p then obviously and of ****ing course that is relevant.

If these people dont care about the concept of p4p then just watch the HW division. Problem solved then.

yes. the truth will stay consistent. i believe mikey will beat loma, but a lot of that comes down to size, if they were both the same size, i would favor loma right now. but if loma goes to 140 and gets linaresed, then pick goes to mikey, who is fighting above his ceiling at 147.

 

I don't think you have to be a Mayweather fan to say he's past his prime. Looking at the McGregor farce you could say he's shot to smithereens without it being too much of a stretch. Pac's pretty faded too compared to what he was but he's a much better looking fighter than Mayweather in 2019.

 

Tommy Hearns knocked out Roberto Duran in 2 rounds. Just cause Duran beat Barkley and Leonard and had a close fight with Hagler doesn't mean Hearns didn't have a size advantage over Duran.

It's just common sense people.

 

People take what Pac did in moving up in weight for granted. If it was so easy every Flyweight would do it.

All the money is at 147 and higher. If they could fight at 147 they would. Anybody would. Its where the money is at. Its just that Pacquiao is the only little guy who was good enough to do it.

Pac is better than Floyd p4p. That's just the way it is.

 

It would be interesting to see how much better Manny would fare the second time against Floyd. He fought Floyd with an injured rotator cuff that was surgically repaired a week after their fight.

 

If PBF wasn't shot he wouldn't do any better because he has no answer for PBF's ability to control range and dictate distance. PBF will always be able to outbox him because of that. Now that PBF is shot he would win.
