Assuming Joe at his best he knocks each out. We are talking the elite of the elite in Louis. Deadly power delivered extremely quick.

Before Youtube, I'd have picked Joe Louis over all of them. The sports shows used to show "highlight" videos of Louis hitting opponents and the opponent collapsing. Then YT came along and I saw Louis's opponents fight. They were pitiful, Carnera, the Baers, Galento, Braddock, Simon...Louis never faced anything close to as good as the people listed above. If he could adapt his fighting to much better fighters he might win some, if he didn't adapt he'd lose to all of them.

Silly. None of the fighters in that group had the skill or punching power of Louis. Louis is rated top two hwt champion. None of those fighters aside from Moorer and Spinks ever attained the hwt championship let along true boxing greatness. STUDY UP!

I favor Louis over all. Another beautiful 12 year title reign for the brown bomber

    A full house probably.

A couple would give him tough fights, but he would find a way to win.

Lol yeah because slow as molasses club fighter Joe Louis could knock out a bunch of talentless guys from the 30's 40's and 50's it means he could knock out and beat guys who were bigger than him, stronger than him, faster than him, and more skilled than him. Louis struggled to beat blown up 160 pound light punching Billy Conn. But yeah he could handle these guys power. Could we just stop it with these dumb threads? Could the moderaters just ban anybody who makes threads like this? Good God., how clueless can you people be. If you honestly aren't smart enough to see how boxing has evolve since the 1930's you shouldn't be watching boxing. Joe Louis = guy who was good for his low level era. Joe Lois = fighting from the 70's to this day would of been considered a tomato can.

Each of these guys destroys Joe Louis on his best day and their worst day.

Lol exactly. The guys Louis face were horrible. They weren't even considered skilled for that era. beating Simon, Braddock, the Baers, Carnera is like beating Butterbean today.

    Explain it to me then.

How did boxing improve between the late 30s and the early 80s?

I think Louis would clean out the list, but I can see Michael Spinks in top form giving him an extremely tough fight, since Michael before his knee problems had an excellent jab and was very hard to land clean on.

Louis would beat them all. He might be wobbled or floored a couple of times, but peak, prime Louis had ridiculous power and hand speed, along with great technical ability and combinations.

All the listed fighters had their own weaknesses, some glaring. Louis exploits them.

It might even be Michael who ends it in this timeline, if he got Louis at the right time, as he did with Holmes!
