I HIGHLY recommend anybody to listen to this before posting petitions and suggesting things on how to combat the problem. Its virtually impossible and they look at pretty much every angle. The episode is called 'The Drugs in sport Episode' it was recommended on new age boxing and everybody should listen to it.

No, not sure where these guys are based but thta episode is a brilliant listen and you soon realise the fight against PEDs isnt as simple as 'ban for life' or 'ban for x years'
I fully agree people who have strong opinions on PEDs need to be much better informed.....The comments i see from people embarrass me Unfortunately morons don't want to educate themselves
Ross Tucker is a South African, and a very well known figure in sports science. IIRC his major focus is on marathon runners - optimum pacing strategies, mechanics of running gait. He was also one of the people the athletics governing bodies asked to study whether or not the likes of Oscar Pistorius, with artificial limbs, could in theory have an unfair advantage against the able bodied; and, also the advantage intersex athletes like Castor Semanya have versus "normal" (XX) women. I think he has also done studies on the effects of the newish tackle rules in rugby on player safety (risk of concussion etc). So far as I am aware, he's not specifically a PED expert but his past articles have dealt with the effects of PEDs on the limitations of human physiology (mainly for endurance sports).
Not that one - but it's currently saved on my podcast app. I liked the previous episode on running shoes, and one on the Tour de France though.
