Is Usyk's run of wins the most impressive in today's boxing?

I don’t need to, none of those guys has ever been close to p4p top ten it’s not a debate.

i dont think you see things the way i do at all, let me give my take so we can compare which is the more logical view.
if i fight in one division and fight 30 fights and beat them all, i will have beat 3 top 4 opponents in a division in my whole career. if i go another weight up and take a title, i am adding another top 4 opponent, and so on. usyks best win is over one #2 best in a division. all the other wins are over fighters not good enough to be at least #3 in their own division.
what usyk is doing now, going up to heavy to win a title, mikey has done 3 times already. that means usyk will be taking it to a whole new list of top tens and trying to beat them, which again, mikey has done 3 times already.
unless you are a big fan of usyk, his opponents are no better than the contenders at mw, ww, fw, etc... they have done nothing to suggest they are any more skilled or dangerous than any other good divisions top fighters, nothing.

yes, i was surprised that the only fighter to have a win over a legit p4p talent, was never mentioned in the comparisons.

 

Fan of Usyk or not, the top CWs gave faced eachother, and Mikey Garcia hasn't dominated any one of those weights.

Not one of those divisions have been as strong as CW and Garcia hasn't compiled a résumé like Usyk's

Because he arguably didn't beat Lomachenko, came in over weight and was on drugs. Not only that but Lomachenko was green and Orlando has lost almost every meaningful fight he's been in

 

thats because he didnt bother to beat the #5s and 7s of a division, he went up to the next division to face at least a top 4.
i disagree, i think the talent at mw and ww craps all over cruisers.
i arguably dont think usyks wins at cw are anything special, but they both got the wins, so were stuck with that. and even if you think loma edged it, which one of usyks opponents has fought a legit p4p top 10, so they can at least say theyve fought at that level? you think usyk is top 10 p4p? well gues what, all his opponents got worked by a top 10 p4p, while salido, who you choose to leave out of the discussion, can actually say he was close to even with a legit top 2 p4p.
one of us is relying much more on what they want to be, rather than what is.

 

i aint trying to crap on usyk, hes a very talented fighter. you dont see me in every love fest dedicated to usyk that gets started every few days, trying to derail the train. im making legit points, backed by legit numbers, and formulating thoughts using legit logic. im aware why usyk gets more love, comparatively, than other fighters with similar accomplishments, and thats cool, people will be who theyre gonna be. im just shining a light on the facts, so you can decide what type you wanna be. im just tired of the silliness that gets thrown out every time someone questions the popular opinion. as if you dont agree, youre just a hater.

 

The only thing Charles Martin will be hungry for is the payday he would get for fighting Fury.

Assuming it gets made, Martin might talk big in the buildup; but come fight night, he will get in the ring with Tyson and **** himself just like he did against Joshua.

 

Do you think Usyk could have matche the same set of wins at heavy though?

 

Usyk is a better fighter than Mikey P4P though and if he beats a strong heavy like Wilder it would outdo Mikey`s poor performance v the bigger Spence.

 

What world are you living in to have joshua as the number 1? I think not.

youre getting ahead of the discussion, and no usyk is not better p4p, thats what my whole argument has just outlined. and no offence, but the kid is correct about boxing a lot more than you ever are, so let him make his case.
