I dunno...Corrales applying a double armbar and hanging onto it for several seconds seemed kinda flagrant...and it wasn't the first time he was guilty of fouling in the fight.

 

Not a robbery. 95-94 for Miller is plausible but Miller really lost that fight for me late. Really slowed down while Corrales stepped it up. And the ref cost Corrales a draw on the cards. Eh.

I can't speak for Williams vs Vicente, but the officiating and verdict was perfectly fine in this fight. If anything, Corrales should have been deducted a point for hitting on the break and rabbit punching.

 

That was BS but he deserved a point deduction for hitting behind the head all night and hitting on break

Miller did much more holding in the second half of the fight when Corrales brought it to him on the inside. Corrales was actually the one attempting to fight out of it late. Yes he held from time to time but it wasn't enough to warrant a point. The first hit during the break came when both fighters were throwing simultaneously. The second one was a bit more blatant but at least Corrales didn't throw it with much force, just a tad touch. Rabbit punches was mostly initiated by Miller dropping his head, which does not bode well for Corrales' wide ass right hands. Didn't see anything worth taking a point for but it is what it is.

You know...as Paulie just pointed out....if nothing else both Gamboa and Martinez have been in high profile fights throughout their careers.

These guys know their way around a ring.

Sometimes these old dog fights are good. They know how to fight but don't have the legs to get away from one another.
