Only with Loma is a bigger man, claimed to be smaller.
He's not. Loma fans just make up these weird nonsensical excuses for the possibility that Loma takes am L soon.

Who in the world has Davis fought? Featherweights and nobodies! When is he going to take a challenge?

First i never claimed davis had a great resume his best win is pedraza. With that said he's still young 24 and he has plenty of time to improve on it. I dont know why the berchelt fight hasn't happened. I'm not sure who his promoter is but it needs to happen. I want loma-davis and yes i would favor loma to win. I'm not a loma hater but his career lately has been disappointing for arguably the #1 p4p fighter. He should have taken that pac fight when he had the chance. Campbell is a waste of time he should have let haney take that fight instead.

The only Salido problem Loma had is that he couldn't sign Orlando's name on the contract for him. That fight was going to happen, to the point that Salido actually went to the Martinez fight and the two met.

Then Salido saw what Loma did to the guy he went life and death with, and all the sudden, no amount of money was good enough and Orlando cashed out for way less. I don't blame him. From his perspective, better to always have that bragging right then to wind up on Loma's highlight reel forever.

Loma was supposed to fight Mikey Garcia at 135. But Garcia took the better business fight against Spence. It made sense for Mikey because he could make more money because 147 and higher is where the money is at. And he didn't have anything to lose because Spence was supposed to beat him because he was so much bigger.

Mikey's gamble was that he could lose to Spence and still get a Loma fight, but he couldn't lose to Loma and still get a Spence fight.

Heck, he still could've had the Loma fight straight off the Spence loss had he not vacated his 135 title instead.

I don't know what he's really trying to do. I just know that he could get shutout or badly knocked out by Spence and still retain his status as a top p4p fighter. Because Spence was so much bigger.

The biggest gamble he took is not facing someone bigger and top calible like Spence, but more about moving up two weight class itself. In order to prepare for this fight, Mikey bulked himself up, added more muscles to his body. All was done to withhold Spence's power. It worked well defensively as Mikey took Spence's shots very well. However, it costs his entire offense and agility. He looked much slower and moved less actively. He was so bulky that he looked more like a living punching bag.

Mikey is a dangerous fighter in 135. But he sacrificed it all. And he vacated his only title without hesitant meaning that it'd be very difficult for him to get back to the weight class he once unified two belts. I honestly don't see that he can survive in 147. Sure, he can go back to 140, but currently 140 is much more competitive. There are top class opponents here like Ramirez, Taylor and Prograis. Those three are miles better than Zlaticanin, or Broner (lol).

Tank **** scared of Loma. Scared of the truth. That a skinnier and smaller Eastern European can out skill and outbox him making him look second rate.

This fight needs to happen soon while their both prime and relevant. Loma schools Tank though in a one sided beat-down. Tank is not ready for Loma and Floyd/Ellerbe are well aware the Loma is the best P4P today now that FMJ and Pacman are grandpas.

I find it amusing that the Floyd nuthugger tyoes can talk so glowingly about his resume and skills yet call Loma a ducker.

It does not seem at all like they want Davis anywhere near Loma. Hell, they're afraud of Farmer and keep fighting no-names.

As far as Loma at 135 the only fight at that weight where he could have been considered 100% was Crolla. The Campbell fight will tell a lot as Luke has solid skills.

Broner probably beats Ramirez and 50/50 with Prograis.

Wonder if you agree with me but I'd rather Loma came back down a weight. it's cool he's fighting bigger guys than hi but it isn't a great division. Campbell is a decent win but outside of that you've mostly got guys who themselves are still up and coming.

We won't see Loma-Davis next year though, no chance. The Farmer fight is taking an age to make and it's not as if Farmer is some great fighter himself. It's a cool fight and one I want to see but I'm not sure Farmer would be a better win than Pedraza. Tank's got plenty of years left in the game but it's been very very underwhelming since the Pedraza fight and it doesn't make much sense to me.
