Brutal TKO from Ramirez last night, I'd have to back either of the other two though.

More confident than ever that Taylor beats Prograis. Ramírez funnily enough I’m wary about, he’s improved and younger than JT and RP so room to grow more.

His defence looks levels above Josh’s in my opinion but as I said Postol and Baranchyk are no mugs. Josh has definitely faced tougher opposition so it is hard to judge with any certainty. I love JT’s offence, I love how he’s spiteful and likes to hurt people, he’s got that killer instinct but he just takes a few too many shots for me. Prograis has barely dropped a round his career, his movement, his ring IQ, everything about him looks elite.

It’s one of the hardest calls in world boxing but I’d say 52.5% RP 47.5% JT. It’s proper tight.

His defence looks that way concentrating on defence and picking one shot counters but Taylor evaded far better, faster, tighter combinations vs Ivan that Regis has had to deal with but got less credit.

I think you’ll be surprised mate, I really do. I’ve studies both for ages now, prepping for this fight. It’s a great fight and may be close but honestly. The balance between offence and defence is what makes the difference and the stats show Taylor to be better generally in that area.

    Can’t wait though.

I don't pretend I get everything right and anybody and who takes any time to read my posts will tell you if I'm wrong about anything I always log in and hold my hands up and say "I was wrong" and even congratulate or tip my hat to those who were right..

Do you know why I do that? I'll tell you... because I'm an adult, I'm not childish or petty, I do not argue about things just for the sake of arguing, i don't try to save face even about some prediction I've made and got wrong.

I have learnt a lot on here, there are plenty of posters with exceptional knowledge when it comes to boxing and I listen, respect and appreciate their opinions.

We all get things wrong, especially when it comes to predicting boxing results.

Also I'd love to ask you, when you say "wrong every time" are you sure? Really sure? I mean are you really sure you want to make that claim.

By making that claim you have just proved you are the one who is wrong. If you want to pull me about Kov Vs Yarde that's fine, it hasn't happened yet, it is signed but Yarde might get injured, so might Kov, who knows.

If Kovalev Vs Yarde happens, then it happens, I didn't think it would, Yarde wouldn't even fight domestic rivals so please excuse my scepticism, I wasn't the only one.

Also Yarde own team, His own trainer said they wouldn't be going to Russia, he said it was a stadium fight in the UK, so once again excuse me for listening to Yarde own team.

Also, I wouldn't start to claim some sort of "I told you so" before the fight has actually happened, things can happen, things change, you migt end up looking a little silly if the fight is called off.

I hope you’re right but I think you’re underestimating Prograis somewhat. I’m going to watch their last 3 fights again later this week and I’ll come back with a final verdict.

Do we know where the fight will be? How much of a draw is Prograis in USA compared to Taylor in Scotland? Or maybe farmed out to somewhere exotic again?

Rumoured for Manchester or London m8, don't think it will be in Scotland which is fair. It does way better numbers in the u.k.

Taylor smashes Prograis. Too big and will be too much on the inside. Quote me.

The atmosphere was great in the Hydro for the semis, hope it translates down to London / Manchester. I am considering getting a ticket if it lands here

With Taylor supposedly (don’t think there’s been official word yet) signing a co-promotion with Hearn and the WBSS on sky sports (or was that a one off event?) then I can see a big matchroom/SKY push to promote it.
