I’m thinking about fights which were expected to be highly competitive but ended up being blowouts.

    What performances come to mind?

Thomas Hearns KO of Pipino Cuevas.

Foreman's KO of Gerry Cooney. It was impressive that grandpa still had hands like that.

Great little fight. The guy in the white trunks is clearly more skilled but for a moment it seemed blue trunks was going to walk through him based on sheer toughness.

    Lewis-Golota (R1)

    Lewis-Grant (R2)

Both were seen as tough fights for Lewis going in, though not so much now with the benefit of hindsight

    RJJ-Thomas Tate (R2)

    Hurricane Carter-Emile Griffith (R1)

    Holyfield-Douglas (R3)
