Povetkin Ducked Tyson Fury

Well, Povetkin has absolutely no chance against Tyson Fury, so hard to blame him for dodging a bullet here. He's 40, coming back from a 1yr layoff & beating from AJ and had surgeries on both elbows - imo Hughie is a good opponent taking all of this into consideration. After watching Hughie vs Sam Peter, who shouldn't be anywhere near boxing ring anymore, I'm quite confident that Pov will handle him and earn himself another payday or even a title shot. Good luck to him, kinda sucks that a fighter like Stiverne was able to win a real belt and Povetkin somehow missed his chances (I'm obviously not counting his WBA strap as Wlad was the real champ then).

 

Povetkin's at the stage in his career where he can fight whoever the hell he damn well pleases. He's paid his dues, and doesn't deserve to be accused of ducking by anyone.
