I’ve never made any excuse for Whyte or anyone failing a test , just let the process take its course before jumping to wild and uninformed conclusions as many have on here.

To suggest MR or anyone else for that matter are on here (as some have suggested) to quell the furore created by the self appointed boxing experts on an Internet forum is absolutely ridiculous.

Come on guys , take a long hard look at yourselves.

You just seem like someone that wants to go against the grain and hold a contrary opinion.

I wouldn't even say this forum is particularly 'anti' Matchroom. People hold their actions to account, and there are a handful of posters that don't seem to like Hearn.

I would say in general it's fairly balanced, if this Whyte situation has panned out as it seems it might have - people are right to call that out.

Again the WBC haven’t said he’s failed. Just “adverse findings”

I just had a quick look back at the statements the WBC issued after Canelo tasted positive for clen and they also use the “adverse findings” phrase when referring to Canelo’s positive test. Think it might just be in line with their drafting policies for these statements.

It’s not just the WBC though. It’s UKAD, the BBBoC, all of them.

Not one is saying he has failed. Which is bizarre.

It’s just legal jargon isn’t it to avoid any comeback should sample B miraculously come back clear.

I’d say similar to the BJS case that they haven’t requested it. They know it can’t be wrong so don’t want to weaken their position any more.

All the UKAD rulings have it written as adverse findings or atypical findings; it's just the language they use but there is slight difference between the two. Adverse usually indicative of what we would call a failed test so far as I can tell

Obviously Warren is going to bash Hearn at every opportunity but it's hard to argue with any of that. He's taking a swipe at everyone in fairness and he's dead right. It's a bizarre case and incompetence was shown by all parties. It was a proper cash smash and grab with no duty of care taken for Rivas. I hope he sues.

I also hope a serious lesson is learned from these events. To think that court injunctions were sought to hide it all really makes you wonder. What other doping scandals have we not heard about? This likely goes beyond boxing.

Think the adverse is the same in cycling. Until they have decided they have categorically failed they use the term

If going against the grain is not jumping to conclusions with little or no facts of the case and following the pack like a little lost sheep then I’m happy to.

Doesn’t say a lot about the forum though if going with the grain means ignoring the facts and procedures in place And ignorantly spouting a load of rubbish, takes all sorts though I suppose.
