That was never a DQ, it was complete and utter stupidity from Ortiz, Ortiz tried to headbutt Myaweather and then they touched gloves, that's it, it's done. Ortiz wanted to hug, touch gloves again, hug, say sorry, take Mayweather out for dinner, snuggle up and whisper in Floyds ear.. Ortiz is an idiot, a dirty idiot and deserved to get smacked.

I honestly don't believe Cortez would have counted Mayweather if Ortiz caught him with a great shot with no controversy, I wouldn't be surprised if Cortez picked Mayweather up. I'm not a Mayweather fan but Ortiz tried to headbutt him, to be honest if Mayweather didn't want to tap gloves and just straight smacked him in my opinion he was well within his rights. Ortiz was frustrated, upset and lost his cool and eventually paid the price, it was never a DQ in my opinion, but it's just my opinion.
Dont know about DQ but at the very least had a point taken off with a warning of DQ the next time it happens.
