Well yeah, precisely. Makes you wonder whether there was a clause at all, and if it was, how it was worded. You'd think if it was that simple it would've been announced.
The rematch was always gonna be in the UK. Ruiz never had any say in the matter. Just making noise incase he loses and then will try use that to get another rematch. Which he won't get either!
lol, we'll see about that. This is just a positive PR tweet from Hearn who let's be fair has had a horrendous few months capped off by this week. Let's all get excited when it's officially announced shall we?
I don't mind where the fight is tbh just want it to happen asap. Was just following up on past discussions I've had on here where so many posters were sure Ruiz was now the A side etc!! We'll see but I'm pretty sure now as I was then that the rematch will be where AJ/ Hearn decide!!
Troll off. Fook me these Eddie FC sock-puppets are like bluebottles this week. All that iFL A-side nonsense was consigned to history on June 1st when your idol got his head bounced the ring. If you honestly think Haymon is going to allow the walking money machine that is the 1st Mexican HW just to come over and get robbed then you need your head examined. It's either gunna be NY and another beating or AJ fighting David Price as part of his "comeback" next year. Screencap this.
So you've gone from Ruiz is the A side to Joshua won't fight again!? Your desperation for MR failure is blinding you!! Lol
Joshua will not fight a live opponent again. You can listen to Eddie all you want. I'm telling you that cash-cow is very much being brought in from pasture now and milked for all he's got left. This will be against MR stable Brit tier, if that. Every single opponent he faces going forward knows that a bit of pressure and he's in serious danger. That is game-changing revelation psychology wise. The bloke was milked like a prize heffer for years and was and is clearly burnt out. It's also obvious he's been badly rocked in sparring and training. He needs a complete rebuild not 5 months off. Let it go man, it's over. iFL, the "hilarious" Eddie soundbites, the football-tier bragging on FB and twitter with stadiums as background pics. Haymon and Frank are running tings now.
Ok! So when the rematch gets made and It's in the UK, will you admit your hatred had blinded you!? Seems to me you are setting yourself up to look rather silly here. How does this pan out in your mind then?? Hearn saying 'look Koogs we couldn't do the rematch so Joshua is gonna take the next best fight in big Pricey' Clearly it's rematch or nothing for Joshua and there's been little to suggest anything other than a rematch, and latest developments suggest that said rematch will be in Cardiff!! Welcome back to reality man.
Literally nothing you said has been confirmed yet. It's all just Hearn spin to deviate from a truly dreadful few months. I'm more than prepared to look silly if the rematch gets made in Cardiff. But I'm confident it won't. Get him a ready for milking boys!
My understanding is that the clause was a venue of Joshua’s choosing. My guess is DAZN want the fight in the US. Team AJ want the UK. AJ himself would go UK or MSG. Ruiz will be looking for loopholes in the contract or dragging their heels. My guess is there will be an agreement reached whereby the fight is in Cardiff and they will ask for a late licence to have the fight at 12/1am. For a 7/8pm viewing time for DAZN. They will then verbally agree that they will give Ruiz another voluntary at the next available opportunity subject to contracts if AJ wins. Therefore the third fight will be in the US. I also think AJ is stalling slightly in the hope more Time off training and hype will go to Ruiz head.
But everything you have said is nothing more than pure speculation on your own part @305th ?? When it is confirmed I'll remind you!
Ye maybe. I wouldn't be surprised if Haymon is looking into the legal side of the Whyte fiasco. He's probably claiming that life's are on the line and ukads procedure are detrimental to the well being of his fighter. He's probably looking for a legal loophole in wake of Whytes doping scandal. Would he get taken to the cleaners by MR should he refuse to fight in the UK , claiming he's acting on behalf of his fighters potentially been damaged should he get in the ring with a fighter who has given a positive drug sample. He's probably looking at where he stands should he have to go to court with MR.
