Manny's running the whole damn correctional facility now. If anyone at 147 needs some smokes they gotta go see Manny. A dispute that needs settling, go see Manny. Someone stole your lunch, go see Manny. You need a loan or contraband, gotta go and see Manny. Manny is the Daddy and what he says goes. Manny got 147 on lockdown now. This content is protected
Whoever won the Pac/Thurman fight could claim a good win. That's it. It certainly wouldn't put either in the top 2. Spence and Crawford are pretty much universally not only recognized as the top 2 WW but as top 5 p4p fighters. A lot of people have both in the top 3. So Pac win was a good one for sure. But it doesn't really change anything in the division. Most people look at Thurman as a guy who was never elite and but at his best was very good. But who was far from his best. There is a reason Pac picked him. Pacman still would be a huge underdog against Spence and Crawford.
After seeing this, wow, he has been doing this for ages. Yeah anyone fighting since 1997 deserves a world of credit, but the way he did it is more impressive after reminding myself how long he has been at it. There's only one Pac! This content is protected
It's a good win for Pac. Pac fiends act like Thurman didn't just almost get KO'd by a fringe contender his previous bout though. This isn't the same Thurman that got W's over Chaves, Porter, or Garcia.
So are you saying that Thurman from 2 years earlier would have won? I'm sorry I just don't buy that. Any version of Thurman would have lost that night against Pac. Give credit where credit is due.
I think the Thurman from two years ago was hungrier, more focused, and took a better punch upstairs. The Thurman from two years ago would have absolutely whooped Lopez's arse, and not almost gotten KO'd. He would have also beaten this Pacquiao. I'm not trying to take credit away from Pac. I'm simply stating that this new, hippie, flute playing, pansy version of Thurman, coming off of two years of inactivity isn't the same Thurman that beat Chaves, Porter, and Garcia.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Thurman fought the same way as he's always fought, it just wasn't good enough even against an old faded legend.
