Agreed. But when you’re taking digs at a lad who just dropped and beat you for no reason then you use domestic level against him imo.

Not the most competitive of fights but it was good to have some boxing on a Friday night.

Was surprised to see Dillian Whyte show his face, thought he was in hiding. His mate took a fair bit of punishment off Cullen who I thought boxed very well. Could have stopped him a lot sooner, mind.

    Robbie was fighting some hobbit.

Ritson boxed very well, his jab was excellent but wasn’t much of a test.

Fowler against Rose was getting a little boring until Fowler got cut and they started going at it. Rose just doesn’t have the pop, he landed some nice single shots but because of the lack of power, he can’t build on it and Fowler countered him really well at times.

I thought Fowler looked ok. There’s no X factor so far in him. I’d like to see him hit some more hooks into the body in his future fights.

Respect to Rose, he came to fight and put in a good show.

I thought it was very decent of Whyte to come out and support his man. Would have been easy for him to hide his face and I’m sure a few of the Cullen fans will have heckled him. Whatever anyone thinks of Whyte he seems like the kind who will back his bros and you have to respect that.

His man showed a lot of heart but at 34 there’s only so far he’s going to go. He was technically very flawed too, maybe if he had some power he could be a force at the domestic scene.

I dunno. He wants the rematch and they dont like each other, he's gonna have a pop.

I just don't think it's particularly something to use against him tbh. Him and fitz both British/Euro level imo. Cheesman a bit below.

I've just got back in from this now. Really impressed with the venue, great area by the Albert dock and all brand new. There must have been about 1,500 in. A load from Bolton and Blackpool supporting Cullen and Rose. I was in from 6pm had Diamante walk past me and I was gutted I missed a photo oppurtunity. Then I finished my first pint and went to the bin on the back wall and Eddie Hearn was there! I spoke to him but didn't get a photo :/

There was a few good fights on, I enjoyed Essomba v Mcgoldrick the most and a well deserved upset. Harding Jr was game but was just outclassed and a correct quick stoppage from the ref. Ritson got roundly booed but a solid win against a game Polish lad. I thought davies jr was getting far too carried away with a win in what was a tick over fight. I would love to see Ritson beat him next.

Rose had success but it was only ever single shots and I had fowler up by 4 rounds maybe 5. No way he goes beyond British level though, far too easy to clip. Good atmosphere though and really enjoyed it and looking forward to my next one.

Also I think bakole was on the live stream as he probably got more coverage that way. The venue was pretty sparse until about 2030

Probably right mate. I just reckon if you lose you should pipe down until you have something to mouth off about.

I’d back Fitzgerald again in the rematch though.

Fowler leaves himself open to the right coming in. An heavier puncher would have caused serious problems tonight, a shame that a game Rose lacks any power.

Fitzy beats him - again. He has Fowlers number, mentally and physically now.

Cheeseman v Fowler is more a 50/50 fight. Fitzy imo beats both.

Yeh he's start a slight favourite for me but I think these could fight ten times and win a few each.

Fowler and fitz could beat or stop each other on any given night I reckon, it's just one of them matchups.

Fowler batters Ted imo, taylor made for him. fitz also beats him but not as emphatically, styles make fights.

Fowler has the beating of Fitzgerald and should have seen it out in that last fight. He had Fitzgerald in terrible trouble in that 9th but inexperience and a stupid ego meant he left himself open in the 10th. I noticed he did the same with Rose last night but was much more cautious.

People rewrite history and I see on here and twitter people making out that Fitzgerald put a beating on him. It’s due to an understandable dislike of Fowler (and Coldwell with some). I like Fitzgerald and it was a close fight but he was staring at a defeat before he landed that shot in the 10th, the scorecards back me up.

Fowler beats him by a few rounds in a rematch. Fitzgerald is hard fella and extremely likeable but not sure he looks after himself like you should between fights.
