Kownacki is fat but he's already proved he can do damage. I think he needs a reason to slim down and Arreola isn't enough reason, not yet anyway.
I agree about Arreola. Sure he knocked out a tomato can in his last fight but he looked fit and his handspeed was still there. He has the potential to clip Kownacki early but the later it goes, the more you have to favor the younger man.
This is a fight he's suppose to win easy while waiting for his shot at Wilder, but with his poor defense it's dangerous to take any fight for granted. He's got the offensive tools to get Arreola out of there, but if Arreola has anything left he'll likely land some good shots early. Arreola does seem to be taking this fight serious, but if he's shot that won't help much. I'm predicting he makes it a better fight than most expect though.
IDK????Don't have any real reason to give a lengthy thing on this ,jusy hope Kownacki pounds in Arreola who I cant stand ….just cause ?????Something about him annoys the hell out of me and im a fellow N.yer so...…...must be an L.A thing. lol
I expect Arreola to land his share of shots early, but if he can't get Kownacki out of there he will likely wear down first. Kownacki's weight could be a factor though. I don't think Kownacki will just walk through Arreola like some believe he will, but we'll see. I would pick a prime Arreola over Kownacki, but who knows what he has left now.
You'd think a guy shaped like a pear that's as slow as Kownacki is would be a sitting duck for getting hit often and hard, especially with that bulb head sticking up like a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot, but he is actually very good at slipping shots and somehow avoiding damage. I can't help but admire that.
I know Kownacki must have trained had for this fight, I mean, he did throw over 1000+ punches, but geeze his diet must be pure garbage. If you're doing boxing training and strength conditioning and are still pear shaped, I'm guessing you're a glutton and consuming garbage 24/7. He should be at least 25lbs lighter. If so, maybe with that extra movement and agility he wouldn't take all those unnecessary punches in close like he did late in the fight. It may make for a longer career as well.
