If you look at the styles you see an easy night for Wilder. Klitschko had a stiff head which didn't move off center line, relying on size and reach to keep opponents at bay. I belive klitschko would be intimidated and unnerved by Wilder and would be reluctant to throw in round one. And when that happens we know how Wilder does it. This content is protected
Lol at threads like this. Wilder got humiliated in sparring by Wlad, even confirmed by coaches. After that Wilder decided he would become the mandatory for the WBC title, that means he could be a champion without facing Wlad. He could have been Klitschko's mandatory opponent as well, but that's not what happened for a good reason.
If he can do it against a defensive master such as Audley Harrison why not a Klitschko? I'd argue that that's a faded version of Harrison with his prime being during his Prizefighter domination/Second Sprott fight ... so there's that to take into consideration.
Also, you'd have to hold a gun to his head to force Wilder into a fight with Wlad now in 2019 ... no way a fight with a prime Wlad would ever go down. It took years of messing around to try to line up Joshua and it still never happened.
Vitali would eat Wilder alive. Wilder wouldn’t be able to hit him with his awkward lean back style. Vitali had very good upper body movement.
Deontay would have retired those 2 stooges. Pity they didn't want no part of the devastating bronze bomber!
Yeah he goes 10+ rounds with the likes of Molina, Duhuapas, almost 10 with Szpilka. But he knocks the Klitschkos out.. Yeah ok. Wlad beat the **** out if him in sparring by all accounts(Wilder gets very butthurt when this is brought up) in the ring wouldn't be any different.
I think it's possible he catches Wlad with straight Bomb, yep. He's fast with fast hands and long arms, it can't be ruled out. Sanders caught Wlad right down the pipe. Haye also got through with a few lunging RHs and he has shorter reach. Of course if he misses a lunging shot, Wlad can make him pay with either hand and finish the fight also. If Wilder was cautious like in the Ortiz fight, Wlad would probably catch him by midway through. But I don't think Wilder can be ruled out of any contest at this point. He floored the best defensive boxer in Fury, and Fury had pretty impressive reflexes and movement to avoid the bombs the rest of the fight, that was edge of the seat stuff at times.
Spar is spar. Wilder isn't sparring anybody in a real fight , he's trying to body them. His words , not mine.
Wlad believed he had the beating of Joshua after their sparring sessions. Look how that turned out. If you ever sparred in your life you'd know its a learning experience and not a real fight.
Wilder only survived old man Ortiz due to the bell and an NYSAC quack. Prime Wlad wreck him like he did in sparring.
