For all of the people who say Joshua more or less quit at the time of the stoppage, I'd like to know whether you would say that Alexis Arguello quit when he let the referee count him out at the end of the second fight with Pryor. What about when Erik Morales did the same in the third fight with Manny? This content is protected
Fan girl drivel....... Morales was totally washed up aka shot and weight drained by Pac....... Arguello was in a similar spot, he was done...... the tail end of his career...... Both of their opponents were not sub par subs with Michelin Rings around their waist. The Bodybuilder with a glass chin quit like a dog in his PRIME....Fact......fighting a late fat sub who was picked to loose.... Ruiz raised his hands even before the Ref stopped the count......he knew that the Brit Hype Job already quit and wanted to get out.....
Joshua's rematch gameplan will be to put rounds in the bank and win a decision, not go for a stoppage and mix it. Has to be big question marks that he has the game to implement that successfully. It's the only way he can win tho.
Eddie Hearn say jump, Andy Ruiz say how high. Best get your passport out porky because I see 260lbs + of fat man on a plane heading on over to the UK for an ass whipping.
You are absolute correct. A beast Pryor with the "special mixed" water fighting Arguello at the very end of a 90 fight career and a prime Pac beating Morales can't be compared to what happened to AJ. I honestly believe AJ and his team went beyond underestimating Ruiz and when Ruiz started putting hands on him, they hand no answer or gas to continue.
I think that some times a ref can stop a fight but the fighter believes there is a still a chance to win. Plus there is always the upcoming suspension for being tko'd that a fighter gets upset with. But if you are getting smacked around and cant seem to get your legs back or stop the other guy from his attack , I couldn't blame someone for being relieved when the punishment ends.
My favourite Anthony Joshua quote. " Oh no what's happening to me." I tell you what happened to you big stiff bodybuilder. The juice ran out, and you were left there in the ring beaten senseless by a short obese blob! lol
I don’t think he need to stop him to win.. He can apply the same game plan Wlad had against Haye and bore the fight out with the high guard and stiff jab
Oh josh is massively overrated! So is Andy now too. I don't think we saw much to be honest. It's kinda hard to say yeah he'll come back or no that's all he has in him, because it was over pretty quick. We saw Josh not adapt and get ktfo, that's what happened. He's had time, we're about to see if he can make it now that he knows what he's in for.
